I stopped by Store #4 on Saturday 2/21 around 1:30 PM during a quick lunch break, and I just have to say the team working that shift was phenomenal.
The place ran like a well-oiled machine. From the person at the register to the team in the back preparing the food, everything flowed so smoothly. I was especially impressed with how clearly and efficiently they communicated with each other while going over orders. It made the entire experience fast and seamless, which I truly appreciated since I was on a time limit.
The manager on duty, Miss Lisa, was wonderful sweet, direct, and firm in the best way. You can tell she leads with both kindness and structure. There was also a gentleman working alongside her (long locs and a beard) who seemed like her right-hand. The leadership dynamic was strong, and it showed in the team’s performance.
The entire crew on that shift was amazing. So much so that I had to leave a review. I’ll definitely be back!

I love you Buds , i grew up with Buds. All I can say is employees were very nice and they are very busy. Great team! Just check your orders because this the third time I went, I didn’t get everything i ordered. I ordered a 4 piece dinner with fries and coleslaw slaw and an extra side of mac and cheese. Got home no mac and chz. Help them out check your order.

If you have a Pickup Order Sign/Line, why do use the line to take orders and let people stand there for 20 minutes while their food is getting cold for a pickup order? Today the employee asked if anyone had a cash order while multiple people were just waiting for pickup orders. Don’t waste your time for pickup orders.

A friend highly recommended Buds Chicken and insisted that I try it when in the area. I’m southern and a Southern Baptist so I know fried chicken and Buds Chicken is not it. I think that the grease should have been changed a day or two before. The chicken was dry and because of the old grease taste, I just couldn’t finish my order…the restaurant itself is not real clean. There are tables and chairs for guests to dine in but the tables are dirty and not wiped off. The view of the kitchen did not appear to be very clean either. I just wasn’t impressed with Buds Chicken whatsoever. I think KFC next door would have been a better option although I don’t eat KFC. I think WaWa would have been much better.

I haven’t been to Bud’s chicken and seafood in about 15 years, but 1 quickie Chicken tender meal has reminded me they still are the best fast food chicken. Juicy, fresh tasting Chicken with a perfect crispy outside, great fries and delicious hush puppies. It’s still as good as an adult as It was when I was a child.
