This is a good spot for after work drinks and a quick bite. Overall not a bad experience, with good service and good food.
The short ribs were a little dry and my beer slightly flat, but nothing to prevent a return trip to see if they make up for it.
The service was polite and our waitress was friendly.
As the night went on, the dining room and bar filled up with families, business people and people who appeared to be on dates.

Had a wonderful dinner at Gusto Grill before a show at the State Theatre. Chicken parm was so yummy, the white sangria was delicious and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our server Julie was great and made us feel welcome and attended to. This was our first time eating here but we will be back. The portion sizes are so large my 20 year old son was thrilled to eat the other half of my meal at 1am.

On a whim decided to check this place out. Greeted right away and seated immediately. The atmosphere was nice, casual, they had throwback music playing not sure if that’s their usual or just the day we were there but we enjoyed it. Our waitress was nice but disappeared for long periods. We decided to try 4 small plates to share. The watermelon gazpacho was absolutely delicious! Mouth watering to be exact! The roasted Brussel sprouts were also very good, roasted to perfection and absolutely no burnt taste. But make sure you squeeze that lemon on there because it completely enhances the flavors of the dish. The ribs were fall off the bone, tender, delicious . The octopus unfortunately underwhelmed, it was overcooked chewy and the bed of salad it sat on was too salty. Overall will stop by again to try other dishes if in the area. Prices are very reasonable.

Never had a bad meal here… The atmosphere and food are fantastic. The shrimp Poh Boy was loaded with shrimp!! The fried goat cheese was incredible… I wish there was more. It was so creamy.

Food was good, hearty burger. We also had a friendly waitress. It is a bit pricey. We went during happy hour, so I think $9 for my Flatbread was fine, but to pay $18 or $17 for that is a bit much- I was told they’re the same size for hh & regular hrs.

My bestie took me to Gusto Grill for appetizers and sangria, and I cannot believe this was my first time going. The restaurant is super cute — cozy, warm, and those wine bottles hanging on the wall? I loved that detail. It gives grown-woman energy without trying too hard.
We went on the Saturday after Valentine’s Day around 1 PM and surprisingly there was no wait. We sat in the bar area, which felt relaxed but still nice. From the hostess to our waiter, the staff was genuinely kind and attentive. I hate that I don’t remember our waiter’s name, but I do remember he’s expecting his first baby — and he was amazing. Attentive without hovering.
Now let’s get into the food.
We started with the white sangria, and it was delicious and strong (the good kind of strong). The fresh fruit on top sealed the deal.
Asian Style Sweet & Spicy Wings (10/10)
These were solid. Good size, fried perfectly, and the sauce had just the right balance of sweet and heat.
Shrimp & Avocado Spring Rolls (7/10)
I really wanted to love these. But if you’re not a red onion fan like me, just know it’s strong in there. Since they’re pre-made, you can’t remove the onions — so my bestie enjoyed these solo.
Kung Pao Cauliflower (15/10)
I would go back just for this. Crispy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served in a cast iron pan that makes it feel special. This was the star of the table.
Crispy Fish Tacos (0/10)
Unfortunately, the fish wasn’t fried crispy and did not taste fresh. We sent them back and decided not to reorder. I appreciated that there was no issue with taking them off the bill.
Overall, I would absolutely go back. The atmosphere was great, service was on point.Not every dish was a hit, but the experience felt worth it. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
