Excellent place, my wife enjoyed vegetarian Palak Paneer, while I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and we both shared the Aloo Gobi (potato & cauliflower), and Garlic Naan with rice.

Order spices to be mild, medium or hot to your liking.

***Everything was delicious!!***

For desert my wife had the Rass Malai (she started on it right away before I could get a picture!), and I had the Gajjar Halwa, both were very tasty!

**Nice people, interesting decor, great food, nice place**

***We’re definitely going back!!***

Authentic! Check it out!

Delicious food! The Gobi Manchurian is phenomenal! Hakka noodles are some of the tastiest I’ve had! Shahi paneer and chaat were also good, as was the mango lassi. Highly recommend this place, for Indian and indo chinese!

Absolutely phenomenal Indian food in Patchogue!

Art of Spices is a true hidden gem in Patchogue, NY — a cozy yet upscale Indian restaurant where every dish feels handcrafted with love and precision. The flavors are nothing short of artistic — bold, balanced, and beautifully presented.

We first tried their takeout and were blown away, so we had to come back to dine in. The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, perfectly paired with warm rice, and an addition of naan bread and a soothing hot masala chai. For dessert, the mango lassi was the perfect creamy, refreshing finish.

Whether you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Patchogue, a romantic dinner spot, or the best takeout near Main Street, Art of Spices delivers every time. The service is attentive, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food tastes like it was created by a true culinary artist.

Highly recommend this restaurant — we’ll absolutely be coming back again and again!

I’ve never had much food outside of Italian and American, but I’ve been wanting to branch out. My mom found this place and decided we should go try it out!

Firstly, it’s got such a nice atmosphere. All the decor and furniture was picked with a specific thought in mind. The service was quick for the amount of food that we got, which was a starter, a main dish, and some naan. We were sharing between the two of us, and there was more than enough food. The flavors were amazing and there was so much love crafted into the food. We will be coming back!

I’ve had takeout from here before and found it to be delicious, this time I decided to stop in with my girlfriend and it was an incredible experience! The food was impeccable! We were torn with what appetizer to get and our server Singh made the suggestion of trying samosa chaat. So many layers of flavor! Each very complimentary to the other! We followed it up with garlic naan and chicken tikka masala with mango lassis all equally delicious. Between the service by Singh and the food I would 100% recommend Art of Spices and will come back regularly!

First, let me say that Kundan Chauhan’s Art of Spices is a wonderful spot for authentic Indian cuisine. Kundan himself is a true gentleman—his warm, gracious presence makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door.

The chef’s dishes are absolutely delicious; I savored every bite. We tried the Tadka Dal, Aloo Gobi (my favorite!), and Chicken Tikka Masala—each one was superb. Of course, we couldn’t resist the Garlic Naan and the Masala Chai Tea, and the Mango Lassi was out of this world!

As for pricing—money well spent. The décor is lovely too: decorative spoons adorn one wall, while charming paintings of young women grace another. To my surprise, these were all painted by the owner’s six-year-old daughter! I initially thought they were collected from his travels—what a talented young artist.

You must go—walk, run, or better yet, drive straight there! Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. I had to come back the food was so good. The first time I had the butter chicken and cheese naan. The next day I had the chicken tikka with marsala sauce with the garlic naan. I had the mango lassi both days. The portions are enough to take home for later. The service is fast and very friendly. Definitely a reason to come back.
