Hubby and I had an appointment in Yukon. We decided to stop and eat before we had to drive 2 hours back home. We found this little gem on Google and decided to check it out. We are Arizona Natives and have lived in Oklahoma for almost a year now. When we say this has been by far the best Mexican food we’ve had in a very long time, that’s an understatement. The atmosphere was wonderful, our server was amazing, and the owner even stopped by to say hello. If you are in the area definitely stop in and you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Still all those great flavors, I still haven’t eaten the entire menu wish I could so far really good food. Wish the empanadas were a touch bigger, and I would rather have the cheese and chillies on the side to keep them at their crispiest but they were still some of best New Mexican things in Oklahoma.
STILL TRUE: This is good New Mexico style food. If you have never had it try it. I love a good chili relleno and this one is all about the chili get it with meat or just the cheese. Great salsa amazing stews. Take that menu to the test, I have yet to be disappointed. When your done save room for the Pecan pie.

Nothing special about this eating establishment, the white green chilli queso and chips were really good. but the fajitas trio we ordered were decent at best. The large portion of Margs were not loaded with alchol, so if you wanting to catch a buzz , that will not happen. I will say the service was great, fast and always met our needs , with what we needed. They were all friendly. IMO this is a mid level Mexican restaurant.

This is our second visit to Green Chile. It was good. Excellent service. Food was hot. It was quite crowded for a lunch service. I have to say that it is very noisy. Something about the acoustics of the building may play a role in this.
Unlike most Mexican restaurants, you pay for your set ups outside of cold chips and a poor salsa roja ( sin picante ) a very meager side of guacamole ( melon ball size ) I wish I could say I was kidding, but it was my partner’s birthday.
I needed to be in Yukon for other reasons with my partner, so we popped in for a late lunch. Would I intentionally drive to Green Chile for a meal, absolutely not. Preparo comidas mejicano de alta calidad en casa.

Updated edit review. Our old review was from last year and we did not have a good take out experience. But this time it was spectacular.
We came in here weeks ago to dine in. We had the best experience. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was amazing and so fresh and our waitress was the best waitress we’ve ever had. We will come back again and again. Thank you for having us! The guy at the front was really nice too and even went to the back to see if they had a toy for our toddler so our sons could have the same toy. It felt like we went to visit family instead of dining in at a restaurant. We got a lot of food for our buck and everything was perfect. They even have a little library in the front of their restaurant which I absolutely love!
Their queso is hands down the best queso we’ve ever had and my husband is half Mexican and we went to Mexico and GCK has the best queso. Their salsas and salad dressings are by far the best. If they sold it in bottles I would buy it.

Finally got to try this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. It’s in an older rustic building that adds to the charm. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was busy. Service was great and our food came out quickly. I ordered the Green Chili Stew with pork, which is as New Mexican as you can get. It was delicious. My wives loved the enchiladas with green chili. The complimentary chips and salsa were good as well. The salsa has a Chipotle flavor. They have a good variety of desserts and I can recommend the mango/key lime pie. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want some great NE Mexican food.
