Tonight made me remember why I stopped ordering from this restaurant. However, if it weren’t for my mom I would’ve never attempted to. I called to place our order ahead, and the young lady that answered the phone said please hold. I was on hold for 11 minutes driving almost to the restaurant. I hung up and called back hoping to order and just wait once I arrived. A young lady answered and said I need you to hold. I said, no I was just on hold for over 10 minutes. The young lady said, “so” very nonchalantly. I asked to speak to manager and she said, well you will have to wait. Then she hung up. I drove to the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was no help and the young lady stood there looking at me smiling. The people who are in charge of Skippers do not care how they treat their customers. When the original owners were there, Jimmy and his daughters, they cared about the quality of their food and how they treated their customers.

Horrible customer service. We ordered a togo on the phone when we got there in less than 15 mins they had already made the food and it got soggy. My husband was mad so he wanted to eat inside. Worst decision ever because the waitress put our food on the table and started serving other customers without giving us any condiments or anything.

My husband has secretly been eating here for years. I just so happen to be in the room when he made reservations for his work team. The lady that took the call was nice and offered to put his group in the back for more privacy.
Of course I had to try the food! I’m so glad I did. I ordered the tilapia and shrimp combo. My plate was full! The hush puppies are small and have a sweet taste. I had the slaw and fries. Yay!!! Is what I have to say about that. The fish was big and I had a ton of shrimp. I feel the value for my money was excellent!
I did read some of the older reviews. Portion sizes have been a point of improvement and I feel like it has been addressed.
Very yummy and filling dinner. Give it a try maybe I will see you there!

This restaurant is amazing. The food quality surpassed my expectations and the portions are very generous. This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The staff was fast and very friendly even helped me find the perfect meal for me by taking their time and asking what types of seafood I liked and making the perfect recommendation. My husband, 2 daughters (4 yrs & 9yrs) and I just left the restaurant highly disappointed and angry. When we decided to go we were excited, when we got to the restaurant and I walked in first the waitress only grabbed one menu I said “You know there are 4 of us right?” She stated I didn’t see them. Mind you they were right behind/beside me. Like REALLY!! We sat down ordered our food everyone already seated had their food. Our children got theirs, however my husband and I didn’t get our food until after all the new customers that walked in had ordered, and got their food. The waitress explanation was we have a new cook, I don’t know what’s going on back there. My husband and I are like isn’t it your job to find out what’s going on. Well anyway the food was horrible, it was bland, either under or over cooked, our daughter’s plates could feed adults when we ordered them 2 children spaghetti plates. I’m just gonna say we are NEVER EVER EVER going back. If you’re looking for good food, service and atmosphere don’t come here.

Skippers is really good! I love the chicken and shrimp plate. Prices are higher on the weekend but the amount of food you get is worth it. I would also recommend getting your food salt and peppered when ordering.
