Brittany and Madison! Amazing people. Recommended the Deep South Benedict with buffalo hot sauce and mini waffles. Both meals were delicious

The egg on the Benedict was cooked just how I like it, the fried chicken was seasoned on its own very well, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy. Combined it hit the taste buds with flavor!

As for the mini waffles ! Cooked to perfection. Light salt, sweet, thick and not over cooked. The middle of the waffle was soft and chewy but not chewy chewy but the batter was just right.

Thank you for the great service and friendly welcome.

The sweet potato chili with cheesy grits and cornbread was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly warm. Very soul-nourishing.
My server Gionna was great and got me a to-go cup for my soda before I left. Nice atmosphere and they quickly seated me at a table, tho I was just a party of one.

We ordered gluten free crab cake benedicts on gf toast and gf cornbread. I recommend doing the toast; the flavors melded better. The sweet potato waffle fries were really good, but overall we weren’t blown away by the food, and the ambiance was just okay. It’s a bit cold and dark.

My friends took me here for the first time and it was amazing! They have breakfast and brunch all day and a number of other unique entrees. They also had your pub basics like fries and burgers. Amazing amazing amazing!

You can’t keep me away from LPH. Their food is delicious, their cocktails are tasty, the service is great and they often have creative specials. The large menu means you’ve got a bunch of options, and they’re great for any meal of the day. Love love love

LPH has an easygoing, welcoming vibe that makes it a fun stop for lunch. The staff is friendly and on top of things, and there’s a nice selection of branded merch if you want a small souvenir. The menu leans classic American—and that’s where they really shine. The burgers were standout: juicy, well-seasoned, with great buns and crisp fries.
Outside the staples, execution was more uneven. We tried a quinoa–cilantro bowl that sounded bright on paper but landed a bit bland.

Overall if you’re in Richmond and craving a great burger with friendly service, LPH is a solid bet!

Why do I continue to give this place a chance? It must be because it’s within walking distance. It certainly isn’t the service, or atmosphere.

9 times out of 10, when we try to place an online pickup order, they’re ordering system is turned off because they can’t seem to keep up. When we are able to place an order, there is no confirmation when the order is ready. You’re reliant upon the time frame estimate provided when ordering, which is never accurate; either the food is done way early so it’s cold upon pickup, or we arrive and have to wait.

When we dine-in, the service leaves much to be desired. No one is overtly rude but they’re clearly not happy to be there either. It takes forever to get a drink order in, and even longer to receive the drinks. The wait staff and bartenders would rather mess with the TVs that no one is watching than pour a beer.

The only redeeming quality is the food itself is usually pretty decent and even fantastic. Food is pretty subjective so I’ll keep my few criticisms, but I will shout out the wings, RVA hot chicken, the Mac and cheese, as well as the Cuban.

Despite those positives, I think I will finally have to cross LPH off our list. Each time we give them another chance thinking it’ll be better, it doesn’t change.
