We’re here today on another episode of Legends of The People to recognize another important and special part of the community. Today is about the young men and women of Rushs at 10016 Two Notch road who have spread joy, smiles, cheers and great meals since 1940. Eeach time walking through the door is another time being met by laughter, jokes and joy by a crew of hard working and dedicated individuals who strive every day to be the best part of society. Over the years we have seen many of individuals come to grow and succeed at becoming some of the most well known individuals for bringing what matters most back to this world. Battling the impossible is made to feel possible when being a part of the Rush’s family and we hope to see many more years of love, joy and laughter with them. Thank you for being a pillar and reminder of what’s truly great in our community 🙂

Arrived at this rushes like I do any other time. I quite enjoy the food occasionally. I got to the drive-through and the lady asked to take my order. I gave a clear order, she then tried to suggest a different way to order the same thing. I told her no. She proceeded with the order and read it back to me. Sounded correct. WRONG she read it back correctly but wrote it down wrong. I got a CB basket, a hot dog and chili cheese fries. Paid, and when we got the food, they didn’t have my fries with my basket. Didn’t mark it correctly. I had to pay for fries. I had asked for honey mustard. Didn’t give me any had to pay AGAIN for some more. Keep in mind I still haven’t gotten my drinks yet. While waiting who i assume to be the manager walked up and asked whats wrong. Explained just to continue waiting as she only seemed to pretend to care fo grt us out of the way of the drive-through lined. Continued waiting, got my fries (the only thing more than lukewarm in the entire order. Still no drinks, someone came from the back finally bringing our drinks. I was so fed up at that point I didn’t even want the now refrigerator cold burger. HORRIBLE.

I asked the cashier what she recommend the chicken or burger. She stated the burger what an excellent choice. The burger was juicy, with fresh ingredients. The cole slaw and fries delicious. The atmosphere was great and amazing customer service.

When passing through the midlands, I always try to his up a Rush’s. This location was good this visit. Fast service and hot French fries and cheese burger. If you haven’t tried a Rush’s, they are definitely worth checking out. The sweet tea is also yummy.

The chicken was old or it was fried in really old oil. The coleslaw was good. Fresh tasting. The fries were not good. The food came out hot, thought it was going to be delicious. They serve other things, but I would not recommend if your looking for good fried chicken

This is by far the CLEANEST restaurant I’ve been in, in Columbia. Ms. Donna is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL along with the ENTIRE staff. They went ABOVE and BEYOND and should ALL be commended and rewarded for their effort.

Save you time, money and tastebuds. Cost $12 for a single burger meal. Tea is old and too much lemon. I’ve had better seasoned fries at chickfila. The burger is just a bigger McDonald’s patty. Better off going to cookout for seasoned fries and a fresh hand made burger.

When I was pregnant with my toddler, my husband took me to Rush’s for the first time because I was craving a bacon cheeseburger. And it was so good! But after that especially this most recent visit the burger have not been the same. I’m shocked with how many times I had to spit out “filler” that was in the patty. We just moved to Columbia and this place was highly recommend by my husband’s coworkers. I just left the drive thru. So far I am disappointed. I ordered 2 chicken basket meals(wing and regular) . I asked if my sides could be fries instead of coleslaw and fries, I was told it could. When I received the food is was nowhere near being hot, it wasn’t even warm and I had coleslaw after I asked if it could be replaced with fries. The ladies seemed friendly which is why I gave 3 stars. Maybe I will go again at an earlier time, hopefully it will be different. As the food is now(almost cold) I am not a fan.
