The restaurant was lively and the food was okay…fairly average chain restaurant fare. Chips & salsa were good!
My chipoltle chicken enchiladas were “heavy.” The cheese sauce smothered everything and just wasn’t that tasty. My friend had the chimichanga and said it was fine. Over all, just a good, average C+ restaurant, nothing to write home about.
The service was quite good!
Greenfield’s “Valle Grille & Cantina”, (unfortunately closed for the moment due to a fire) is ten times better and far more authentic.

I’ve been too 3 Mexican restaurants in the area and this is by far the best. The chips homemade and the salsa wasn’t runny or watery. I ordered 3 enchiladas of asada and I couldn’t finish them. I ordered sopapias for dessert and they were good. The price was decent too.

I got the burrito chorizo which was hefty and flavorful! Definitely perfect for 2! Next time I’ll add jalapeños! The salsa was decent, the diablo sauce was on point, but the most impressive tasting item they have is their skinny margarita! It’s rare to come by good tasting Mexican food in my travels up north but this spot has my heart! Of course a good ol modelo negra with a lime to wash it down with! They also have a decent selection of great tequilas to offer!

We love Don Rigo’s food and friendly staff. Have always had excellent food and service. Their portion sizes are very generous and we usually have to take some home. If you like Mexican food this is the place to go in Greenfield.

Solid Mexican fare. Atmosphere is better than many roadside Mexican restaurants, service is “ok” when you 1st arrive, but sitting in bar area, servers, runners & bartenders are loud & almost unaware of the customers hearing them yelling & laughing(at least they’re happy:)), food portions are huge! Plus extra focus on quality guac, exceptional included sides like the chorizo cheesy goodness, set it above. Had the Don Rigo Enchilada, ironically enchilada was generic, not great, but rest of plate was great!

Don Rigo never disappoints. The food comes out quickly and always tastes great. The shrimp chimichanga is delicious. So are the QuesaBurria tacos. The 88 ounce margarita tower is fun for a group!
We do try to avoid going during peak hours because the restaurant is rather small and can be very crowded during busy times. The layout feels cramped and it can be difficult to get around because of how narrow the paths are between the tables. When we do go at busier times, the wait time is usually fast. The bar side is the restaurant offers a bit more room than the main room. We usually try and sit in there.

This is a nice restaurant in Greenfield to eat at, the food is really good. They have some great tasting salsa. The customer service was excellent! Plenty of seating, stop in and try some.

1st time going there went with my son and the fish tacos were huge and delicious a huge platter of food. Our service was great never had to ask for anything and the margaritas were so good. We had regular ones on the rocks and then tried the flight of them both of us getting different flavors they were so good definitely will be back!!

It is still as good as ever..food is almost always excellent as well as service. Tried the molcajete for the 1st time, and I will never eat fajitas again. So good. Love sitting in the bar area much more quiet.
