$17.50 for a bowl of mac and cheese that tasted like plain noodles sitting in warm milk. No cheese flavor whatsoever.
The fish fry was mushy, bland, and completely forgettable.
The atmosphere didn’t help. It felt dysfunctional and mismatched, like no clear identity or cohesion. On top of that, it was so loud I couldn’t hear someone sitting three feet across from me without them yelling.
The only redeeming items were the onion rings and cheese curds. Those were actually very good.
If you go, stick to appetizers and drinks. The entrées are not worth the price.
I had the meatloaf, while my girlfriend had the salmon. Both meals were 10/10! Even the presentation was on point. We enjoyed an old fashioned and a lavender(?) lemon drop martini! We will be back.
The atmosphere is great and unique (check out the pictures).
I had questions about the menu, and the server answered me with ease. The only negative thing I have to say about the server is that we would order a drink and would take so long that (twice) when it came, we forgot about ordering it.
The food? Good Lord! It was freaking amazing. And we were absolutely amazed at how quickly our order came out.
Besides the speed of our order, the food was absolutely superb. We were all impressed with the presentation and how wonderful each dish was.
I can’t rave enough about this place. I highly, HIGHLY recommend coming here and trying them out.
I hope this helps. Cheers!
After looking over the drink menu and not finding anything that appealed to me, I asked the bartender if they could make a Fuzzy Navel. I was told they did not have peach schnapps, which I appreciated. I then asked if they had Moscato and was told yes. However, the wine that was served to me did not taste like Moscato at all.
I mentioned this to another bartender and asked if they had Coca-Cola instead. She said yes. What I received was not Coca-Cola. When the original bartender returned, he explained that they did not actually have Moscato and had decided to serve me Riesling instead. He also confirmed that I had been given either Pepsi or Dr. Pepper as they didn’t have coke products.
The issue for me was not that certain items were unavailable — that happens. The concern was that substitutions were made without telling me. Serving a different product than what a guest orders, without disclosure, is highly inappropriate. From a service, legal and safety standpoint, transparency matters. Guests may have allergies, sensitivities, or simply preferences that should be respected.
I hope management takes this as an opportunity to reinforce clear and honest communication with guests.
