Really love this place, food is always amazing. Unfortunately, we called to order and was immediately placed on hold. No problem, must be busy, we could hear her talking to people… then she hung up the phone. Called back and was put on hold again. We got to order and went to pick it up… husband got home with not our whole order… spent $40 for two people and was super disappointed tonight.

My eggs were not made as I ordered them and I didn’t touch them so I asked for the price to be adjusted and the waitress said am I really going to be like that over some eggs and snatched my plates while I was still eating and said I didn’t have to pay for anything. This was very rude and I have been a customer of this location for over 20 years and will not be returning.

Being from out of town we always like to visit local places for food. We were a little worried about the location. But for me, the smallest places have the best food. The service was quick and very friendly! Love how it was small comfortable and welcoming. The food was amazing! Couldn’t believe how delicious and well cooked it was. The prices were extremely reasonable. They have these sandwiches they are know for and we will definitely be going back next time in town.

Visited on Saturday and was absolutely hit with nostalgia. I needed a banana split the no one else can compare. I got my fix and some steak sandwiches too. Excellent. Grew up in Saginaw but there are some restaurants that are too close to my heart.
Keep rocking on and I can’t wait until my next visit to Michigan.

Went on Monday afternoon. Not busy inside at all. Good service. Ordered Steak sandwich with cheese and mushrooms, and fried cod dinner. The bread is awesome. The steak sandwich meat was not really that good. Fired cod had a breading on it I wasn’t expecting. Usually cod comes with a wet batter but this was different, I didn’t care for it much. Overall the food was decent though. The service was good and the food came out pretty quickly. I’ll definitely be going back for breakfast.
