Not the best but better than average. The salsa was almost pure liquid, the guacamole dip was just pureed avocado, not much flavor. The meals were supposed to have cheese sauces. Barely any on them. Meat was tasty. Clean establishment. Not expensive.

If you like TexMex, Arturo’s is the place! Real fajitas, not that meat niblits stuff most places have on the East Coast. Salsa is great! Street tacos done right, combo plates galore, and not bad Margaritas. …plus 35oz of Corona for ten bucks! Highly recommend.

We dined at Arturo’s on a Thursday evening during a recent visit to New Bern and were so glad we did. We were seated and served very promptly. The food was delicious! Our favorite dish was the Tres Maria’s platter. The chunky guacamole was great! If you’re in New Bern and looking for Mexican food served with a cold beer or margarita, head to Arturo’s!

This use to be a great place to eat. The food quality has declined over the past year. The menus are old, ragged, and are not correct. The owner will not print new ones with the correct menu descriptions and prices. Our food came out cold and was not good at all. We did express our concerns at the restaurant and have had multiple experiences similar to this one.

I love the food here. It’s affordable and tastes good. However there is always a problem between the cashier and the servers. Today was the worst so far and my husband and I have been here many times as a loyal customer’s. We ordered two lunch combinations. We were charged for an extra taco we never even received and $3.00 for tap water. The cashier wouldn’t take the taco off and he only took one water off because “the waitress complains too much”. This doesn’t make any sense and because of the poor communication and refusal of corrections our bill, as much as I love this restaurant I won’t be back. Very very disappointed

Very disappointed, service was terrible for not having many customers. Ordered 2 drinks 1 was very watery n the other was tooo sweet no alcohol in them. Pd almost 50$ for 1 lunch meal n 2 nasty drinks. Manager would NOT take drinks off bill said against law even tho drinks were still full n left on table….WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!!!! 0 for my review..

Cinco de Mayo was our 2nd visit, both times we really enjoyed ourselves. The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious! I ordered the Parrilla Mar y Tierra (ribeye and shrimp) and it is very tasty! The beans and rice are on point too! The only things I can even criticize are that the flour tortillas are just average (like Mission) and they charge $0.50 for a glass of ice water. You CANNOT complain because their prices are really low compared to other restaurants of similar quality. The fried ice cream is also amazing! We ordered 2 waters, chicken and cheese quesadilla, my entree, wife got three chicken tacos, and the dessert was $30! You really can’t beat the price and the food is great! We will be back frequently.
