1st time visiting this location on Saratoga Blvd and arrived just before noon on 9-11-25. The restaurant was not too crowded and was very clean. I ordered the BLT+ avocado sandwich with a bag of chips ($10.99) and a large sweet tea ($1.99). The staff was very polite and cordial and I received my order quickly. The sandwich was good, but the bacon slices were very small & thin, (like the “fully cooked” style bacon that you can buy pre-packaged in the grocery store). With that being said, it would have been nice to have more slices added to the sandwich, but it was still very tasty. I would have no hesitation about visiting again if in the area. Thank you McAllister’s for the relaxing atmosphere for lunch.

If you’re looking for a place to warm up your belly this is the place, soup and sandwiches great combo!!!! Service was fast and restrooms are very clean ! Sandwiches ingredients were very fresh as you can see my avocado was bright green and delish ! Enjoy and stay warm folks !

First time visiting and was so glad we tried it! I was in the mood for warm soup and a sandwich. They have a choose 2 on the menu (choose two half portions of any reg item) I had the chicken tortilla soup and southwest chicken & avocado salad. The dressing for salad was the icing on this meal! The food was fresh, tasty and filling (large portions). The girl working counter was new and messed up on my order but they were so nice about it and fixed it for me. Customer service is excellent!

I don’t know how a place like McAllister’s stays in business with how consistently they mess up orders. This isn’t a one-time mistake — it’s every single time. Items missing, wrong sides, wrong sandwiches… you name it.

What makes it worse is how they handle it afterward. Instead of fixing their mistake, they offer empty apologies and vague promises of “store credit” that never actually gets applied. No redelivery. No refund. No credit. Just “sorry” and you’re stuck paying for food you never received or can’t eat.

When a business makes a mistake, the right thing to do is fix it. McAllister’s doesn’t. They push the problem onto the customer and hope you’ll just give up.

If you’re ordering delivery or takeout, be warned — there’s a very good chance your order will be wrong, and an even better chance no one will make it right.

I ordered the Southwest Chicken & Avocado salad. It comes with their chipotle lime dressing. The dressing is spectacular, and the salad was very good. My husband had the New Yorker with broccoli and said it was good. He even said that the broccoli was done well and not soggy.

Ordering for a last minute work event. I started calling at 10:45 AM because their app wasn’t working properly. I was continuously placed on hold. Since this was not a large order which needed catering and I would be picking up myself, I was going to just try and call it in before their lunch hour rush. After trying to place the order for almost an hour, I made a decision to just drive there and place the order in person. While driving there, I continue to try and call to place the order so there would not be a long wait. I continued to get hung up on. When I arrived at the Deli there were only about five people inside eating and one young lady ordering. I still have the phone to my ear to see why there was a continuous disconnect. Just before I got to the register, the phone began to ring and the young man at the register politely pushed the button on the phone in front of him, disconnecting the call not realizing it was me. I asked for two things. One, to speak with a manager, the second was to place an order. Since he was the manager, he said he would take care of that first and then place the order. I proceeded to kindly (no attitude because I am working) tell him the incident and his excuse was they were really busy and he was having to pick up where they were shorthanded. I understand establishments get very busy, but phone orders are also paying customers. I then proceeded to ask him if we could just place the order, and when he found out that I was needing six sandwiches, he told me it would be two hours before I would receive them. Mind you there was no one else in the lobby or behind me waiting to order and lunch hour was over by now. There was nothing special about the order that should take 2 hours! He was just upset that I let him know it was me he had just hung up on and that I mentioned trying to place my order for the last hour and a half. I was trying to let him know their app wasn’t working! What has happened to old fashioned customer service? Well, let’s just say, Jason’s Deli took GREAT care of me within 30 minutes and even made it look like a catering order! Now that was customer service! Even got a dessert tray made! Thank you to Ana at Jason’s Deli Saratoga!

Staff and service were wonderful and the food hit the spot. Generous portions and reasonable prices, the baked potato was a good size. The vegetarian chili was awesome and so was chicken salad sandwich. With how good everything was I don’t know if I’ll try something else. Maybe. Store was very clean. All in all a good experience.

Well we purchased 3 meals and one of them needed to be without green onions and wasn’t. He wanted to eat with us and not wait to have them make another so he just pulled them off himself. They did forget some utensils. It would be real great if people would pay more attention to the job they are doing.
