Ok, service wise everyone was nice. We came in just before 5pm on a Monday. To rank the service with a low score on a Monday at that time… it probably wouldn’t be fair. The food though, the pizza was great. We got a deep dish Meat & More Meat, and a Chicken Sausage Deluxe. Both were cooked very well and tasted great! I would come back here again.

Visited Giordano’s Pizza in Rockford and had a great experience. The deep-dish pizza was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The crust was perfectly baked and the cheese was amazing. Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you love good pizza!

Excellent pizza and the Sam Adams Winter Lager was great as well! Waitress was amazing and easily handled our team of 20 hungry hockey team guys showing up. Thank you so much!! Great service and food!! I got the medium crust, Chicago classic I think, perfect and not the cracker thin crust or the Chicago deep. Although the guys that got the Chicago deeeeep said it was really good also.
Even had the UFC fights when BWW said the didn’t. Great!! Thank you!

I asked for extra cheese because my sons autistic all he eats is the cheese I paid 32 dollars for a large cheese pizza this doesn’t look like extra cheese I get you gotta try and save money where you can but when someone pays for something it’s your job to give them what they pay for save money cutting corners on something else not by robbing my son of the only part of the pizza he eats smh customer service and businesses have really gone down the drain since covid hit.

We moved here 2 years ago and discovered Giordano’s a few months ago. Every deep dish pizza has been OUTSTANDING! Tonight we ordered a Meatball Sandwich, a Chicken Parm Sandwich, Garlic Parmesan Fries, and Broken Cannolis for dessert. Everything was delicious! I was delighted to bite into my Chicken – it’s a real portion of lightly breaded chicken cooked perfectly-NOT a chewy fried patty! The sauce is rich and tangy. I pay attention to details- I like that my sandwich was sliced on the diagonal- it shows flair. I appreciate the fresh mint leaf garnish on the cannoli filling- simple but shows that you care about presentation. My husband’s meatball sandwich was also delicious, and the Garlic Parm Fries were nice addition. SO yummy. Thank you for the great meal- we’ll be back!

First time, ordered take out on a Friday. Staff was super nice and they were busy so five stars there. Boneless wings my son loved and they were tender, cheese pizza for my other son he wished more sauce. Stuffed was just not our favorite compared to others we’ve had but it’s personal. Crust like pie crust but cooked perfectly, would’ve like more sauce in it and sausage but overall they did a good job.

My husband and I took our grandkids out to dinner at Girodano’s in Rockford, Illinois on Valentine’s Day, and what should have been a nice family evening turned into a very upsetting experience.

The employees in the kitchen were extremely loud and completely unprofessional. There was constant yelling, arguing, and chaos coming from the back. Someone named Benny kept repeatedly calling, and a man named Greg was loudly going back and forth with another employee. Items were being slammed on the ground, and doors were being pushed open abruptly — it was disruptive and uncomfortable the entire time we were there.

The owner/manager was present and did absolutely nothing to address the situation. No one came to our table to apologize for the disturbance. Instead, the manager just looked at us and said nothing. It was shocking that this behavior was allowed to continue, especially in front of families with children.

To make matters worse, we were concerned about the hygiene and professionalism overall. One employee serving food had a very long, uncovered beard. With all the yelling and chaos in the kitchen, it honestly felt like no care was being taken with the food. I even worried they were talking over our meals while preparing them.

I was especially upset that my grandkids had to witness such behavior. It felt chaotic — almost like we were being punked. The only staff members who appeared professional were a few of the waitresses with ponytails and the bus boy.

Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, and management’s lack of action made it even worse.I will NEVER go there or order takeout from them again!

Excellent service! This location was very nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day. We love the deep dish pizzas here! They are well worth the 35 to 40 minute wait!! The Greek salad was also very tasty, vinaigrette on the side is always thoughtful! The garlic bread and cheese triangles are fabulous!! I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could! Best Pizza EVER!!!

We arrived on a Thursday around 2:15pm. We weren’t sure if we should seat ourselves because nobody greeted us as we came in, so we perused the menu at the podium and I spoke loudly to my family until someone heard me and apologized profusely for not attending to us immediately.

The establishment was empty for the most part, besides another table with some patrons eating.

Later, another couple arrived, but besides them, it was mostly empty.

We were seated at a booth and started our order with sodas and water as well as mozzarella cheese triangles.

We also ordered a large deep dish pizza with added olives, pepperoni, and mushrooms on half of it. The menu says it takes 45 minutes to cook, and it did.

The mozzarella triangles pulled apart with cheesy goodness, and the triangles came with marinara sauce.

When the pizza arrived, it was everything we had hoped it would be. There were so many flavors, a crispy crust, and the toppings were perfect in quantity. Deep dish is filling, so we couldn’t eat much and asked for a box to go.

Our server was nice and checked on us a couple times, but I felt like she could have asked us if we needed drinks periodically instead of me having to ask her as she passed us to serve other tables.

Other than the service, I was happy with our meal. Whoever makes the pizza here knows what he is doing.
