We caught them just after their short handed dinner rush. Had to wait longer than normal. Our server apologized for the longer wait. Brought us an appetize on the house. The owner came out after our meal and apologized for the longer wait with some dessert.
We did not expect the appetizer nor dessert for our wait. A simple apology would sufficed.
Friendly staff grateful for their patronages with good authentic Cuban cuisine.
Thank you

I absolutely love this place. It made me fall in love with Puerto Rican food. I cannot say how grateful and happy I am to have such a wonderful server like Rebecca she treated my friend and I amazing. She told us exactly how to eat and what to eat.

I am not sure what is happening lately in this restaurant. I’ve been a client for many years and even when the owners changed the first time they were still a great place to go to for a good puertorrican meal…I dont know if there’s new owners or what exactly is going on, but the last 2 times we’ve been there we’ve noticed the quality of the food is definitely not the same, it seems low quality. We ordered a trifongo and tostones and it seems they were cooked with old oil. We couldn’t eat it. The presentation was terrible, the empanadillas have changed completely and not in a positive way. Not the same flavor or way of cooking. I don’t think we will be going there again. Very unfortunate.

First let me start by saying I really wanted to like this place. My friend recommended this restaurant to me because she knows that I love love love conch and they offer a conch salad. Drove there after work to get my seafood salad, while there I decided to just get food for the whole family(spent $135). I gave a 2 rating for service because the wait time was ridiculous but the lady who took my order was pleasant. They finally bring the food to me and helped me out to my car because it was too much for me to carry. Luckily I’m a person who always checks my orders before I leave. I WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTED IN WHAT I WAS SEEING. They served me my food in the smallest containers. When I opened the bowl (yes I said bowl) they were 2 pieces of chicken with 1 piece of potato and carrot ( I will post pics) I went back in and let them know I wasn’t accepting that and they needed to fix it….. everybody immediately started speaking to each other in Spanish. The lady who I assumed was the owner or manager never said a word to me she just signaled to the other lady to take the food to the back. Anyways they somewhat redeemed themselves (OR SO I THOUGHT) The main reason I went there in the first place, conch salad, WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! It was tasteless. All I tasted was lime and oil!!! The chicken and pork chops I ordered were so dry nobody finished eating their food. In one of the reviews someone said the cook needs to go to school and learn how to cook and I whole heartedly agree. I was especially disappointed with the pork chops cause that plate was $30, the conch was $30 as well. They don’t have to ever worry about seeing me again!!!!

Rice con guadules was not authentic but the food in general was good and good flavor. A lot of Mexican items in the menu so if you’re looking for w more authentic PR restaurant, maybe this is not the one. The service, the last was nice although she rushed us and cut my husband off half way through him ordering and it threw us off completely, but she was attentive
