The food was delicious and we had a great time.
If you would like to try something different, then take a trip to Southern,OR.
To the Apple Peddler Restaurant.
Great food,and service
Stopped by here today and got lunch.
The bacon cheese burger was delicious and it came with fries.
We also shared a piece of coconut cream pie and it was delicious. It was the best coconut cream pie we have ever tasted.
Our server was nice.
If there were more servers like her,
We took a trip down South and stopped at the Apple Peddler Restaurant to eat.
One got meat Loaf dinner, another got fish and chips, and two of us got bacon Cheeseburger with fries.
Everyone loved the food they got.
Every restaurant would not have a problem.
The service. I was seated fairly quickly upon entering, the staff was kind, and even a bit overly attentive. The waitress stopped at my booth every time she passed, which was considerate at first, but became an annoyance as time went on. Bring me a variety of condiments before the food arrived. The service I would actually still give a 4/5. After roughly 30 minutes the food made its way out.
On to the meal itself. I ordered a chicken fried steak, with over hard eggs, and a side of 3 pancakes. No drinks, but their less than fresh tasting tap water. The chicken fried steak was hard and dreadfully dry on the outside, the batter inconsistent across the whole steak, thicker/thinner in several places. My eggs were cooked decent, albeit a bit slimy on the surface, some of the yolk not having cooked thoroughly in some places. Finally, the pancakes, 3 dry, rubbery pancakes, that without a fair amount of sugar/butter lack almost any flavor. The value of this experience i would say is on par with a local lackluster Sharis.
If you are simply passing through, and need something to eat on the way out, it may be worth it, you won’t find much better sit down for some miles in either direction. If you aren’t overly hungry though, opting to go to the next couple towns over, isn’t a bad decision, unless you really want to try this places desserts.
