We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary this week. We absolutely loved the service we recived from Todd. He was on par with his recommendations and knew how to get the best out our experience. We enjoyed a delicious and perfectly cooked filet each with seared shrimp in a garlic butter sauce, scalloped potatoes and we were treated with a chocolate cake with and dark chocolate sauce. Chefs kiss!
The ONLY thing that caught us off guard was the cesar salad. The dressing had what I think must have been horseradish in it? It wasn’t bad.. just unexpected and misplaced.
It was a fantastic night and we would like to thank Todd for helping us ring in 21 years of marriage.

Great attentive customer service! The Caesar salad was delicious and even had a bit of a kick to it! Big enough for at least 4 people! My husband and I dinned here for Valentine’s Day and definitely enjoyed the romantic dinner!

Great litle gem in a small town. Of all places, i found scallops correctly prepared in New Braunfels. I just ate scallops at a seafood restaurant at Sout Padre Island, they were Ok. Then i saw em on the menu here at Myrons, had to try em….Wow, very impressed. Look, texture and taste were well done, perfect. The scallops were delicious. The red fish special was also great too.
Todd the waiter was an excellent waiter. Great table and service manners. Well balanced with conversation, table service and courtesy. The restuarant had that big city exclusive feel. My wife and I had a great dinner night here. Highly recommended.
Thank you Todd.

Do not go here!! Save your money and go to literally any other restaurant in New Braunfels. The restaurant fools you by pricing their food wayy too high. We ordered a ribeye and filet, both came out undercooked from what we asked. We had them take it back to cook and instead of giving us a new cut of meat they simply put it back on the grill. The meat came back still undercooked except now the edges were burned. The meat was soaked in wayy too much butter (see picture). My stomach still hurts from this meal. Not to mention one filet was almost $50. So I paid $50 for a burnt slice of meat soaked in butter. Oh yeah and you think $50 would buy you a side…. Nope! Each side dish was minimum $10. Ok maybe it’s really good and it’s a huge portion. Wrong again! If you see the picture attached, the side dish was supposed to be brussel sprouts. Instead we got maybe 4-5 bites of brussel sprouts and the rest seen in the picture was burnt leaves. We should have sent everything back and left. I am writing this review because I hope no one else falls into this trap. It was also my anniversary and we were sat near the restroom ):

While visiting San Marcos this Memorial Day weekend me and the honey decided to explore the local dining instead of driving back to Austin for a 5 star restaurant. We found Myron’s and the majority of the reviews were good so we walked in and they greeted us and sat us immediately. The waitstaff was prompt and friendly I forgot the young ladies name that assisted us but she was awesome! We started with some scallops with this bacon bourbon sauce that was delicious! The sauce was so good I asked for a side for my fillet and shrimp! My honey had the Ribeye with a mushroom reduction and we had the jalapeno Mac and cheese. The steaks were perfect and we were really surprised by the flavor and taste of all the food. The atmosphere could have been better if the table at the back of the area we sat in had been asked to calm down . They were so loud it became annoying. Whoever the chef is could go to any major city and rival the best 5 star Steakhouses because the prices were similar just no fancy fan fare and the brown paper bag for your left overs not expected but the main thing is money well spent . Oh and Myron’s Martini was awesome!! A few photos I started eating quickly had to stop and snap a few

Great place for a romantic dinner with a loved one. Celebrating birthdays or anniversaries would be nice. Steak is amazing and sides are large and wonderful. Very elegant and relaxing. Diverse options and well prepared. Worth the trip downtown for sure.

We stopped by at about 9pm on a Friday night. The atmosphere is relaxed, but formal. Steven was our main waiter and took very good care of us. We shared the ribeye, mashed potatoes, au gratin broccoli, green beans, and french onion soup. They had no qualms regarding us sharing and the portions were large enough that we had no problem.
The food was excellent!
A special shout out to Chris who helped clean up a glass our daughter accidentally broke.

Myron’s food and service were excellent. Delicious and perfectly cooked. It used to be very romantic setting. Each booth felt secluded. It was quite dark and quiet. Very elegant. Now the booths remind me more of a cafe style. The decor and atmosphere are not good. Very industrial looking. Prices are much too expensive. Presentation of the food was not appealing. A 6 ounce filet on a large oval plate with nothing else on it looked …. just wrong! It could have fit on a saucer

I don’t know if management or the chef has changed, but disappointed. We came for a celebration meal, I haven’t been in a decade and my husband has never been. (I won’t try new places for celebrations again) Prices and word of mouth you’d think it was still good.
Honestly super disappointed in the decor/ambiance. If you’re right by Macadoos and Cowboys and Cadillacs, you need to step up your decor, sitting in an orange room with four framed pieces of art isn’t impressive or even pretty.
More so our steaks tasted like they had no seasoning , we’ve had better steaks at roadhouses and at home. I grew up having steak, almost weekly, I know a good juicy flavor for steak & this lacked all of that. Thank God there was a ton of garlic butter on the plate because it needed to be drowned in it to make up for the lack of flavor & juices.
The second star is for my cocktail because that was yummy. The quail was good & our main server was professional and nice, that is true. Maybe come to sit at the bar for drinks and apps. But skip the steak at this steakhouse. (Someone open a fancy steakhouse in NB please)
