Chill with a large space to sit. All the food is prepared and ready at the counter, and you can ask for whatever you want on your plate. None of the foods were labeled but the server was extremely friendly and helped us out. Absolutely loved the goat and pernil with the rice and plantains.
The servings are ENORMOUS and great value–two of us shared a plate and were stuffed!

I don’t think I have ever had a bad meal at Celia’s, and I was coming here before Obama was in office, so that should tell you everything you need to know.
Oxtail, pernil, ribs, goat, chicharron, beef patties, pastelitos, maduros, mangu, rice, salad… you name it, it is GOOD here.
Cash only. Dine in is best to have it while it’s hot but they gotta lower the music. It’s a restaurant, not a club. Legit my only complaint. Other than that no notes.

This place was great. Food was fresh and good, service was with a smile from everyone and great, and nice lil cozy place with good atmosphere. This was my first time trying this place out but will definitely be back.

I didnt go in person but the food i ordered was delicious! And for the price i was happy with the quantity too. I got yellow rice with chicken stew and a side of spaghetti for my son. He devoured the spaghetti and im devouring the rice and chicken. I definitely will order again!

The food here is pretty good. They have a very good selection of options to choose from. The best in the area in that regard. Portion sizes are huge and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is cafeteria style, like most Dominican places, with a large dining room for those who want to eat in. They also have a good-sized bar serving alcoholic drinks, which is a pretty big advantage in the Latin food market in the area. For all of the above reasons I come here frequently and recommend them to others.

Excellent and friendly service with great Spanish home cooking. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Bring a big appetite. They only accept cash but have an ATM in the restaurant.

Food is always freshly cooked. Good atmosphere. They have yellow rice and beans, plantains, salad and times vegetable for vegans. They have expanded their dinning area with a big flat screen on wall tv. The restaurant looks like an upscale authentic spanish food restaurant. You can dress up or dress down to dine here. No reservations are needed as of yet. You may see a long line of customer waiting for their takeout orders being prepared as they wait their turn to be waited on if you do decide to dine in. I think they should have a separate entry and waiting area for takeout orders.

I took lots of pictures today because Celia’s has done a huge remodel and I hadn’t been inside since they had. I literally had to go outside and come back in to make sure I had the right place. I did not recognize it at all. It is very nice and modern. They have USB charging plugs at the bar for you to charge your phone. There are TV’s and music. It’s a whole new and improved Celia’s. Still love their food. I was super impressed today. They are doing a great job here. Stop in and check it out.

BEST SPANISH FOOD IVE EVER HAD. I’ve tried Spanish food in the area near Celia’s and it was no match. I’ve had Spanish food in Boston and it was no match. The price, the taste, the portions, and the workers are just great. When I went to school out in that area I’d be here religiously. The workers even teach you Spanish if you want to learn!
