SO SALTY!! Food was extremely salty, even the appes especially the calamari. We couldn’t finish our food without drinking 3 cups of water. We got the salmon, rigatoni pasta and the appetizer photo below.

We had an 80th surprise birthday party for my dad here. The manager, jay, was beyond phenomenal. He worked with my mom and helped her with every detail. He was so nice to work with. The servers today were incredible and took care of everything. Thank you! This is a pic of us surprisingly my dad. That’s Jay, the manager, in the back walking by smiling ear to ear. He’s a gem!

My first time coming here tonight, Tuesday, July 1st. I arrived about 8:10pm. No one greeted me; no host or manager at the host station. It was not busy. The bar was completely open, and no tv’s were on. No bartender; only a few servers. Jay finally greeted me. I asked if I could sit at the bar as it was only myself. He took my drink order of water and Sprite; easy ice. While I perused the menu some bread was brought with a small plate with some herbs. Jay poured out a lot of olive oil. More than I would have. He then brought over some balsamic vinegar. So much oil the vinegar sank to the bottom of the dish. There was another server whom at first I didn’t catch their name. She brought water. With what I asked for from Jay I had two waters and a Sprite. I kept my order simple with their Signature Salad and Rigatoni Martino. The salad came. A plate of finely chopped romaine lettuce with some seasonings, pepperoncinis finely chopped, and two small kalamata olives covered with an adequate amount of creamy parmigiana. My entree arrived just as I was finishing the salad. A generous portion of rigatoni cooked al dente. The flavors were good. There wasn’t enough sauce, and that was made evident by Jay bringing more without my asking. If there were two things that could have made my dinner a bit more enjoyable: leave out the pepperoncinis stem that was in my salad; and slice the sun dried tomatoes more thinly. Large chunks of sun dried tomatoes was chewy, and a different texture from the other components in the dish. During my meal I ordered a glass of their Chianti . It was okay. I’ve had better Chiantis and Montepulcianos with better bodies and flavors. Not worth the price for 9 oz. $14.49. I left about 9:15pm. Ciara was the other server. She and Jay were fine. But no one bid me a good evening as I was leaving. I find the restaurant provided adequate space, clean, and warm; but not very inviting. Parking is shared with other restaurants and shops. The restrooms were not visited; so I cannot comment on their appearances. The prices seem a bit high. For what they price a steak at 13 oz I’d pay more and visit a reputable steakhouse. In my travels to find good Italian food I’ve experienced one place that I’d recommend with confidence, and that’s Avanti’s. As for Carraba’s I’d say that you would have to experience them, and decide for yourself if you’d return. I’m not so inclined based on the prices, and lack of attentiveness. Case in point: instead of refilling my Sprite my glass was refilled with water. Three glasses of water. I don’t understand that. Would you?

Wow, another great family birthday dinner at Carrabba’s. Cindy did an amazing job with our whole dining experience. It was also special when the manager stopped at our table of seven and engaged my three grandchildren with questions about their favorite sports teams and players, while sharing stories about himself and his family. The food of course was fantastic as always. My favorite is the Johnny Trio.

It had been many years since my last visit to Carrabba’s Italian Grill (this time in Surprise, AZ), but I’ve always remembered it as a solid dining choice. Not spectacular, but reliably good. I appreciated the convenience of being able to place my name on a wait-list via their website, which is a real plus during busy times. Despite it being a bustling Friday night this time of year, I was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant only half full.
Upon arrival, the service was quick to impress. Our server greeted us immediately, efficiently taking our drink orders and soon after, our meal choices. Her friendliness and attentive nature made for a welcoming atmosphere. Throughout the dining experience, we were frequently checked on by what appeared to be managers, asking about our meal. While the intention was appreciated, it felt slightly excessive after a while.
The complimentary bread served with signature herbs and olive oil was pretty disappointing. The herbs and oil were good, but the bread was really low quality. Our meals arrived in a timely manner – I opted for the Mahi Wulfe and my guest chose the Chicken Bryan. Both dishes were adequately prepared, yet they didn’t leave a memorable impact. Specifically, the garlic rosemary fries alongside my dish lacked the expected rosemary flavor, presenting an overpowering raw garlic taste which I personally do not favor.
In reflection, our visit to Carrabba’s was just average. Despite the commendable service and the ease of avoiding wait times, the food did not stand out amidst a sea of dining options. Given the variety available, it’s unlikely I’ll prioritize a return visit. Carrabba’s remains a decent choice for those seeking a straightforward meal, but for those in search of culinary excitement, it may be wise to explore elsewhere.

My family asked for a booth to accommodate for my baby in carseat to be in a sling and my toddler who has severe anxiety to be seated away from the crowd. We didn’t think this would be a problem as we seen quite a few open. The hostess asked the waitress with the dyed red hair, and right in front of us the waitress rolled her eyes and with attitude waved us off. So the hostess turned to us and said they’d seat us at the table that was right in the MIDDLE of the restaurant surrounded by everybody. We reluctantly followed to the table and when we looked back at the rude waitress, she GLARED at my wife and smirked. Basically staring at my wife the entire time we sat down, we felt uncomfortable to the point my young son kept asking “why that lady keeps creeping on mom”. Shortly after seated, the very next group to come in we overheard ask for a booth, we turned around and the dyed red haired waitress looked RIGHT at us and then pointed them towards a booth!
We were completely shocked by this incredibly disrespectful and insane behavior, we ended up walking out!
I’m not sure what that lady’s problem was, but even on the way out she continued to stare down my wife. I can’t believe this restaurant even allows this type of behavior.

Went here for the first time last night. Was less than a 5 min wait, the restaurant was decorated nicely for the holidays, all the staff we interacted with were friendly. Jennifer was our server and was just wonderful, she was very sweet and provided great service. We tried a few seasonal items and a few on the main menu. Everything was absolutely delish! Perfect timing between apps, salad and entrees. We will definitely come here again.
