We had an amazing lunch here. The carne adobada enchiladas were incredible. The meat is tender and flavorful- perfect amount of spice, too.

The chile relleno was delicious! The breading was just the right thickness and the pepper was grilled nicely, making it soft without falling apart.
We enjoyed both the green and red chiles. I can’t pick which one I like more, and the servings were generous. The beans were also tasty and not greasy.

After our meal, they gave us complimentary sopapillas, which was so kind. It was my first time trying it, and I really enjoyed it. There are bottles of honey on the table to accompany them.

The staff is extremely kind and attentive. They were happy to answer questions about menu items.

I wish I lived in Denver because I would become regular here!

Seen this spot so we decided to try it. Ordered 2 combinations. Chile relleno plate and a relleno w 2 enchiladas. I love chile relleno but when restaurants leave in the seeds then I dont eat comfortable bc then im having to sit there and take them out instead enjoying my food. Also the relleno had more egg than chile. The enchiladas were not good aswell bc the tortillas were hard. Im not sure if I’ll be back bc the first impression is the best for my return

I was craving a breakfast burrito and looked up places near me. Little Anita’s came up and I was super excited to go to a New Mexico restaurant. When I got the burrito I ordered it was AMAZING!!! It tasted so fresh, was hot, and just the right ratio for bacon, eggs, potatoes, cheese, and of course chili. The green chili is on point for flavor and has just a little kick so I am sure most people can enjoy it.
They also gave me a complimentary sopaipilla no powdered sugar and a packet of honey, just the way I like them! This is my first time visiting so I can’t speak to all of the food but with as good as my breakfast was, I am sure the rest of the food is phenomenal too. If you haven’t been there before, I highly recommend it.

I’m visiting from NY and stumbled on this hidden gem. I ordered the Carne Asada chimichanga and it was the best I’ve had in years — the meat was seasoned perfectly and the flavor was incredible. This place has such a warm atmosphere and incredibly kind staff. Highly recommend!

Honestly in my opinion hands down one of the best Mexican food spots in town. I have been here a number of times and will continue coming here. If you like the more soup style of green chilli theirs has never let my taste buds down. The price is amazing for the quality and portions of authentic Mexican food you get. Honestly it just feels very home like here. Always a happy customer and always will be here. Keep up the excellent service and food you guys bring out the kitchen

Great friendly service. Good food, many options. Music is not too loud, I can talk and hear my company’s voice.

I absolutely love Little Anita’s. I loved when it was close to where I live. Now I drive a good half hour. It’s sooo worth it. The food is excellent. Their chili relleno is the actual chili battered. Hardly an Mexican restaurants do that. I will keep coming back.

Been going here for the very 10 years, loved the food. Went recently after about a year or so and was disappointed. Got chicken tacos, chicken was very bland, the taco had more lettuce and tomato, the tortillas were cold and fell apart, think white people taco night. The salsa was just tomato, couldn’t taste any onion or jalapeño. Came with a friend that was as born and raised in New Mexico and he got a burrito and the green chili was very salty and not much flavor. Just not good at all. Not sure what had happened over the years, it’s just not how it used to be.

This is one of our go to restaurants in Denver for a casual inexpensive (relatively) meal. New Mexican food is lighter tastier version of Tex-Mex IMHO. And Little Anita’s does a great job. We keep coming back for the stacked enchilada plate and all the different combos. And sopapillas come complimentary with meals in the evening! The breakfast burritos are also the best you can get. They’ve kept the quality up and the prices reasonable even lately, so we’ll keep coming back here.
