Absolutely mind blowing. The Camarones Mofongo was so delicious and put that together with the fresh Grouper Ceviche and washed IT down with an awesome Pina Coloda made by Eligh. Eligh was super friendly and keeping everyone extremely happy. This is definitely going to be regular spot for me now. Love IT

Lots of uniquely flavorful foods, De Rican Sampler and Bandeja Boricua are both great for trying a lot of different items. Tostones are a bit bland, but everything else is fantastic, particularly enjoyed the Alcapurrias and Churrasco. Great cocktails all around – perfectly balanced coconut mojito and margarita, can’t go wrong with sangria and De Rican Sunset as well. Ensalada de la Casa is very solid, and Mofongo and Trifongo are savory and delicious must-tries that were new to us, loved em! Had to get Tres Leches cake for dessert, excellent as well.

Now I had a long day at work that immediately started off with broken equipment outside in the cold.
Body sore, clothes filthy, mood sour, etc.
I decided today to take MYSELF out straight after work. Admittedly I came in looking like a bum, but I wasn’t treated any differently for it.
I had one thing on my mind only all morning, and that was Mofongo.
Their food was sooooo good. Flavors balanced, evenly cooked, and a hot aioli I was ill prepared for. I thought my face was burning off, but I’ll tell you what it warmed the frost bite right off me.
The second thing I was gunning for all day (every day tbh can never have enough) was maduros.
There’s are so so so good. I’ll spare analogies here, just give me a bucket please.
I had tried their classico margerita and there expresso martini. Both were incredibly well mixed and I look forward to coming back for those as well.
My first time being here and I felt ready to curl up in a blanket on the spot once all was said and done.
I don’t write reviews often if at all, but De Rican really spun my day back around.
Oh and a final mention about staff: incredibly attentive and very kind. I can’t rate the business high enough.

The Trifongo is absolutely great. I highly recommend the coconut mojito, it is delicious! There is plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Would we go there again? Yes. Do I recommend this location? Yes. Me and my wife came here with a friend a few years ago as we were visiting from NJ. Our experience today had a couple of small disappointments, but overall it was a very nice experience. What were the small disappointments? Over-cooked sweet plantains and flavorless tostones. Everything else we ate was delicious. We ordered a delicious meat stuffed potato ball (relleno de papa) to start with. For me I ordered their yellow rice and beans along with fried pork skins and chicken, and steak with tasty onions on top. The portion filled my plate. My wife ordered white rice and beans with the steak and onions. There was too much to eat, and we couldn’t finish everything so we brought some home. The people at this establishment are nice and friendly. It seemed to us that our server was kind of new but was trying hard to make our time pleasant. This location is clean and I noticed some of the decor could use replacing, but we were there to eat, so the decor wasn’t my focus. We enjoyed our meals and if/when we come back I want to try other items in their menu. I wish I took a picture of my stuffed potato ball because it looked and tasted very good. I also have to include that I’ve eaten this at other places and most places don’t have as much meat inside so this was a very good surprise. We also ordered adult beverages which we actually enjoyed and were well made.

Was craving some Hispanic food. Not the spot that I was looking for but definitely wasn’t disappointed. Left with a full belly and still took home plenty left overs. The sampler platter was a lot more than I expected and the food came out pipping hot!!!

The food at this place is wonderful. Everything we tried, from the starters to the main dishes, was authentic and tasteful. The atmosphere was normal, nothing out of the ordinary, and the decoration was nice. The biggest area of opportunity was the service. I had ordered a prosecco and it was served at room temperature. When I mentioned it to our server, she took it back to the bar and the bartender added ice to chill it and then removed it , obviously the effervescence was gone and the entire body of a prosecco was diluted. Overall, the experience was ok, but it was worth the tasteful dishes.

The seating leaves a bit to be desired I would have loved a booth or more comfortable seating. However you come here for the food for sure,it is authentic and delicious, I recommend taking it to go

The wife and I visited De Rican for a lunch date. The atmosphere and service were great. We loved the appetizer and the entries we ordered. The portions were so generous that we had to get to go boxes for what we had left over. We will definitely be back.
