Very nice, clean & friendly staff. The meals were delicious & good portions. Their bakery items are fresh & delicious! Prices are good & I’ll definitely be back to enjoy other selections on their menu.

Short wait to be seated, comfy dinning room, Good service, for being steady busy she was good. Food was really good, pancakes so yummy. Good hot coffee I would recommend to try if your looking for breakfest .. im sure the other meals are good too 🙂 will be back to try next time!

Very popular restaurant, there were several people waiting for seats but our wait was only 10 minutes or so. Wild rice omelet was very tasty. Hash browns were crisp and buttery. Rye toast was true rye and flavorful. Eggs over medium were perfect. Sourdough toast yummy. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside.

We had MN Nice cater our wedding in November 2024. Our food was WONDERFUL! We had pork roast, beef roast, with roasted baby red potatoes, glazed carrots, and a side salad. The meat was extremely flavorful and tender, and their herbes de provence sauce is incredible. We had a variety of cupcakes, the caramel cheesecake cupcakes were a huge hit! We got so many great compliments on the food from our guests. We worked with Danielle, and she is fantastic. She was so easy to work with and was very organized. For our couples cake, she made a turtle cheesecake that was to die for!! I highly recommend MN Nice for any catering needs that you may have.

The service was good and it’s a nice restaurant, but the food was lacking. The potatoes were unevenly cooked, some were hard, some were soft and they were dripping in a bitter tasting oil. The eggs were undercooked for how I ordered them. The cost is also higher than at other local restaurants and you get less food. It’s not the worst but other restaurants are better in my opinion.

We decided to give them another try since it’s been about a year. Sad to say, the patrons of this establishment must either have money to burn or they’re brainwashed into thinking this is the best. The food has no seasoning, the pancakes were hard and bitter and the price is way too high for what you get. A waffle by itself is $11.50. You can get way more food and better tasting food at Simonson’s or Country Kitchen for much less. The staff here are also inattentive. Our server never checked on us and never refilled our drinks, even though the place wasn’t busy. Sorry to say, we will most likely not be back.

Have eaten here several times on our way to MI. I love the Irish Benedict with their in house made corned beef and my husband had the special that day. This place never disappoints. The staff have been working there for years and work like a well oiled machine. Service is always with a smile, orders come out quickly and hot. The portions are large and the coffee is good. What more can a person ask for.

Incredible, made-from-scratch eats. Everything from the coffee to the cakes to the eggs were put together with the love of a mother. Didn’t have room to give the Hummingbird cake a try, good chance of my eyes rolling back in my head followed by a solid blackout so I couldn’t take the risk. Id recommend bringing a strong family member and a stretcher along because the portions are quite hearty. I pert near left in a body bag, but that won’t stop me from coming back!
Also, great story about how the owner fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning and operating a popular cafe. Love to see and live the American Dream while it’s in action!

In the midst of dealing with grief from losing a loved one, I needed a little quiet time. I also needed to eat. I’m not from MN, so I wanted to find a local gem. I did!
Atmosphere was upbeat but quiet. Coffe was hot and fresh and my Irish benedict was on point. I like my hollandaise with a little more lemon pop to it, however it was still very good.
The corned beef was homemade and cooked/seasoned perfectly. Really just great all the way around.
Thanks to the staff there for just being so nice. ETA: My waitress was Annie. Very kind and attentive. Has a genuine smile.
