I didnt want to eat pizza or burgers, so the menu was tempting. I chose a drink (oh yeah, happened to be a happy hour) and kefta skewer. And it was soooo good! After that I tried a sweet beer and dessert. The waiter brought me a french toast. My sunday couldnt be better. Thanks
The service was OK but slow. Not all waiters are friendly.
No hygiene, the tables are not properly cleaned, nor there were any soap in the WC.
We ordered the plat du jour, which was chicken with potato and a salad. The portion was fair, but the chicken was cold and extremely dry, and the salad was somehow non-existing, just like the sauce.
This place has great potentials, however, screws needs to be tightened…
However, we noticed that the table we were assigned hadn’t been properly cleaned after the previous customers. Although the waiters cleared the glasses and plates, they neglected to wipe the table. When we kindly requested for the table to be cleaned, one of the waiters merely smeared the gravy and wine residue across the surface. While it’s possible that the cloth he used contained soap and disinfectant, the table remained sticky.
I decided to visit the restroom to wash my hands, but I found that there was only one toilet stall available while the rest were urinals. After using the urinals, I was disappointed to discover that there was no soap available to wash my hands. I informed a waiter about the issue, and he assured me that he would address it. However, upon leaving, the restroom soap dispenser still remained empty.
Back at our table, our waiter was friendly and recommended the daily specials, which sounded appetizing. We opted for four servings of the roasted poultry with potatoes and a salad, along with a mozzarella and tomato board.
The mozzarella was enjoyable, accompanied by tangy tomatoes and pesto sauce. The chicken was served with a delightful French gravy sauce. However, the poultry itself was overcooked and excessively dry, making the sauce insufficient to counterbalance its lack of moisture. The roasted potatoes, though flavorful, were cold, despite being well-cooked and tender.
We ordered a pitcher of water, but it arrived at our table warm. We politely requested a cooler pitcher, to which the waiter rudely replied that he couldn’t cool the water. Fortunately, one of my friends argued that the initial pitcher wad cool meanwhile this one wasn’t even at room temperature and was, in fact, hot. Eventually, they brought us a cooler pitcher.
Overall, we left disappointed with our experience. The ambiance was pleasant and suitable for families, and the waitstaff initially appeared friendly, although something may have occurred to put them off. I hope it wasn’t anything serious. I might consider returning for drinks in the future, but sadly not for dining.
2 storeys, large indoor & outdoor spaces & comfortable seats; got an award on beef; have jazz music on some nights Battalion suggestion: provide more cooked vegetables dishes
Would recommend.
