DINED IN AT TIMBERLANDS 2/23/26 THE TIMBERLAND BURGER WAS DELICIOUS AND THE FRIES WERE COOKED PERFECT AND ALL THE LADY’S THAT WORKED THERE FRIENDLY AND NICE COULD NOT OF ASKED FOR ANYTHING BETTER. So sad! This used to be the best place for breakfast in Roxboro. We stopped in today only to discover that nothing was the same. Different server. Different cook. Different atmosphere. The cook was more interested in chit-chatting and watching the TV than cooking. After 20 minutes she had only served up one plate of food and then there four more tickets in front of her to prepare. We canceled our order and left. Don’t know if we will give them another chance. Had anyone heard of an ownership or management change?

Update March 2025: Still great food and service at reasonable prices A great little diner with very friendly service, reasonable prices and large portions. The standout for me is how personable the servers are. Quick, delicious comfort food. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Our coffees were constantly replenished and we were checked on frequently for any needs. We will definitely return and I highly recommend checking the place out.

What a great meal! Highly recommend the country fried steak, fried okra & squash, and fresh baked cookies. The service was excellent, the helpings were plentiful, and I loved the old diner atmosphere.You will not find better food for less! Our waitress was super sweet & attentive and gave my son a fresh baked huge cookie because his birthday was the next day! The outside is very deceiving and we second guessed stopping here but I am so glad we did! Would most definitely stop here again!

Hands down the best breakfast in Roxboro. I had French toast and bacon. But I watched the cook for 30 min. Legit everything was amazing looking! The staff was extremely friendly and turned tables fast!

I was looking to show off a local country style place to my Mexican Grandma ( I’m Honduran) and someone suggested to me this place, now all I want it’s to come by since it’s real good! It’s my second time here and I really mean it when I say Everything is so good! The service: quick and everyone willing to help , the food: homemade delicious food at a good price, the portions are big ! My grandma and I couldn’t be more happier it was her first time trying This delicious US local cuisine , I’m so happy I made her happy , thank you so much !
