We stopped by Cafe Karma early on a Sunday afternoon… the best part of breakfast, a neighborhood band plays pick up music there on Sundays 12-2, worth stopping by for a listen, 1/2 the customers there were locals chillin’ and enjoying the music! The rest of the experience was just OK…
Cafe Karma is a coffee/breakfast/light lunch spot, serving coffee, teas, juices, soft drinks, and the like. Food consists of breakfast bakery (muffins, pastries) and cooked items, light snacks like quiche and croissants, and ice cream. We had lattes (per usual). Temp was great but the coffee itself was just OK, not the best.
For food we had the turkey quiche and the omelette muffin. The quiche was bland, overcooked. The muffin was much better, and was definitely the better of the two selections. Staff were friendly, service was quick! With all the coffee shop options available in SPI, not sure we’d go back. Do not recommend IMHO…

This is a wonderful local cafe! We were only on the island for two days and after our first experience, opted to go back to enjoy it again. Delicious coffee and food, kind service.

I love that this place is so central to lots of people staying on the beach. I ordered a crepe with strawberries and Nutella and they do NOT skimp of the Nutella! There was like half a jar or Nutella in my crepe, amazing! Coffee is great too!

An excellent way to start the day before heading to the beach! Their coffee is absolutely wonderful. We also nabbed some breakfast sandwiches and crepes, which were also delicious.
We had a little bit of a challenging time grabbing seating for our whole group of 5, but we made it work. And I think the kitchen might have been backed up because it took some time for the food to come out.
It was worth the wait! All the coffee that came out was great, and the food was yummy.

I am genuinely upset I’m only visiting the island because the coffee here is so good. The seasonal drinks were so good, I’m genuinely sad the Pumpkin Maple Nog sold out while I was here.

Awesome coffee spot on the island! I got one of their signature drinks, the reincarnation & paired that with the sweet and nutty crepe! Everything was delicious! They have ice cream to keep the kids entertained while enjoying the coffee.

We came here on rainy day and wanted something light for breakfast! First off this is a cute little coffee shop, with a good amount of seating! Their coffee and bagels are delicious! As well as there red velvet muffin. We waited maybe 8-10 mins for our bagels but I think there was one person cooking in the back. But still 10/10.

Great breakfast spot. It’s off season so it’s nice and peaceful on the island. Ordered an iced latte. Wish the cups weren’t so fragile.

This is definitely one of my “happy places” on the island. Dog friendly, pleasant vibe for locals and visitors alike. Just the right amount of busy as their sister store Karma Cafe down the road is a little too busy at times. Staff is very friendly and while the coffee is good, the food is also surprisingly super tasty for a coffee shop. Breakfast croissants are what we get and take to visiting guests. Wanting something sweet? Try the peanut butter cookie cup!

We were looking for a quick lunch and were delighted to find Cafe Karma. The food was fresh and homemade by the owner. It was a very pleasant stop. I’m not from the area, but I hope to return. Maybe I’ll come back to SPI just to eat here.
