Always a great option for Mexican food in the OKC area. It’s been in my rotation since I have lived here, pretty much every location I have tried has been good and consistent. A friend of mine from out of state tried to take me to lazy donkey the other day saying she found some of the best Mexican food ever, I was like sweetheart, that’s horrible it’s one step above fast food! Took her here and she was absolutely blown away. Saying OMG you are right this place is Amazing! I actually prefer more authentic Mexican food, but when I do crave Tex mex, this is my place more often than not. It’s fantastic for its style of food!

I really like Chelinos and we get take out probably twice a month on Wednesdays because it’s the “enchilada special” day. The service is great and everyone is friendly, but if you call to order on Wednesday evening they most likely won’t answer because of how busy it is and if you make a mobile order it will also take a bit of time. I waited 20 minutes before going and walked in and tried to get my mobile order and they hadn’t even looked at it yet. I’m not upset about it because I know they are busy, but it was a bit inconvenient. So, just be aware when ordering on Wednesdays or maybe it just happens to me…

Planned to go to nearby but they were closed so I came here. Everything was surcharged, the salsa, the avocado enchiladas, even extra chips. She accused me of getting them to go when my salsa and queso sat half the lunch without chips. I had to request everything. Said I was allergic to flour and she brought out flour tortillas. Everything tasted old. I wanted to leave so bad but you have to pay for the setup either way. She would not bring a to go box for the enchilada so I had to ask someone else. It tasted like canned chicken. I had a pretty bad stomach ache before I even checked out. There’s not an affordable taco on the menu. If you’re going to be one of the most expensive Mexican restaurants in the area the food quality and flavor should match, but it’s worse than the $1 tacos nearby. I paid $15 for a single enchilada. If I had read the reviews I would have gone elsewhere.

Great food, service was a little slow. Menu has many options. The look outside can be better but the taste and value of the food b is good

Such a good Mexican restaurant! It has really cool features of high ceilings, open concept, decor, and seating options. The food was delicious, staff was very friendly, and the service was quick!

Best Mexican food in OKC in my opinion! This is my go to anytime I want consistently great food and service. The cheese and chicken enchiladas are amazing! Prices are affordable and portions are generous for the money you pay. Highly recommend!

Another fantastic meal at Chelino’s! We had the Taco Supreme platter and the 15 Fiesta platter. Lots of food on each plate, we couldn’t eat it all! The service and food was perfect!

Went to grab what I thought would be a small dinner just 2 orders of tacos. Got alot more and everything was absolutely delicious. Got the guesabirria tacos and shrimp tacos. The beans were pretty good but I wasn’t a fan of the rice to much. Had chips, queso, salsa, and a beef dip all added on for free so no complaints

-1 The food wasn’t that fresh tasting. The queso for the setup wasn’t that flavorful and had a weird consistency. The tortillas and sopapilla dessert were a nice touch though.

Food is always excellent and authentic Mexican! Seating is usually abundant but with typical busy periods (lunch, dinner and after church). Small menu options for kids that don’t like Mexican. Cervezas cold and numerous margaritas flavors.
