Me, my boyfriend, and my 2 friends went out for breakfast on Sunday. We arrived at the Denny’s close to Cottonwood Heights. As we sat down at the table, waiting for our friend who was outside to come in the waitress named Melissa J came to the table and asked what we would like to drink. My boyfriend ordered a water. His friend ordered water and I asked for a orange fanta soda, which was on the menu, The woman replied that they don’t have orange fanta soda. I said, well, it’s on the menu, she said we don’t have it so I ordered Coke in replacement. After our friend came in, we all ordered food. My boyfriend wanted to order the nachos but you guys apparently don’t have that available either even though It’s on your menu. I ordered 2 eggs over medium and 2 sausage links. I was not feeling well so I didn’t want to eat a lot of food. The food was then brought to the table after it was done being cooked and my eggs as well as everybody’s else’s eggs who ordered eggs over medium came out sunny side up . So I asked the waitress to have them cooked more or remade, because they were not done properly. She had a very snide attitude and kind of grumbled about it, and then took my plate into the kitchen. She then came back and asked everybody how their food was. I had opened my silverware and found it to be dirty. So I handed it over to her and said, could I please get some new silverware? My fork is dirty. I took a picture of it and I will send the picture to you. She had a big old attitude, walked away, came back and ordered me to look at it to make sure it was clean before she walked away again. I opened it up. The fork was clean. I handed back the spoon and knife because the knife was dirty. I said these ones are dirty, so I’ll just keep the fork, that’s all I need anyway. She leaves the table and then comes back a couple minutes later with my eggs and sausage. She asks everybody else at the table how their food is, yet doesn’t ask me, When she came back to the table, my Coke was empty, so I asked if I could get a refill, and she kind of rudely snapped at me and said, yeah, I’ll get you another Coke. So I sat there waiting for the Coke to come back, not eating my food yet and waited, probably 5 or 6 minutes until she came back to the table without my Coke and asked how everyone was doing . I said, could I please get another Coke? And she rolled her eyes at me, walked away and came back with my soda. Then again asked everyone else if they needed anything, but didn’t ask me. My boyfriend who is African American, after she walked awa he said to me, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in my entire life”. I said, “what do you mean?” And he says she’s being racist towards you. And I just said, yeah, she doesn’t seem to like me, but it’s okay.. When we got to the end of our meal I got up to go use the restroom, when I came back she and another waitress were standing in the area where they get the drinks, and they both looked at me and then started laughing. I just find it very unfortunate that you have a employee that not only cant treat people respectfully, but also sits and talks about them with other employees and makes fun of them. I don’t think I will ever come back to this place. They have dirty dishes, they don’t make your food correctly. And they don’t have items that are on the menu at the location, which makes no sense to me. Why would you have it on the menu? If you don’t provide it. I hope your company can read this and understand how disheartening. It was for me..

Waiter was beyond amazing! Henry has served us almost every time we come to Dennys. Perfect timing when we need something. Seriously like a genie he made our every request come true. Food was excellent we had the Salmon and Omelet. Super good! Highly recommend

We had a wonderful experience at Denny’s, and our waitress Norma truly made it stand out. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. She checked on us often, made sure everything was just right, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Even with how busy it was, she never made us feel rushed or forgotten. Customer service like hers really makes a difference and is the reason we’d happily come back. Thank you so much, Norma!

It’s funny how so many Dennys restaurants differ from one another. Goes to show it’s not the restaurant but the people running it. In this case, Erika was our server and manager. The cook wasnher perfect backup also. One of the items I ordered was bacon cooked almost burned black. Normally that doesn’t change anything but this time both Erika and her cook listened and delivered! 5 stars for that. Erika also was very attentive despite the fact our group was 7 people in size. Anyway, I will be coming back to this location in the future and I think you should try this location out too. I visited this location on a Sunday morning if that helps.

Professional, friendly & attentive staff. Delicious French Toast, Hasbrowns & Eggs. Clean bar, dining room & bathroom. Nice holiday decor. Cool classic car wall art. Good training saw the evening manager teaching a employee how to use coupons. She was very encouraging in her instructing the other server. Great managerial & customer service skills.

The manager on Friday February 27th 2026 at 7:30pm-8:30 pm was awful. The food tasted like it was put into the microwave. 5 out of the 5 meals were absolutely disgusting. The manager sat us down and didn’t give us any silverware or napkins at the beginning. He didn’t care about helping restock the kitchen. He let everyone drown with being a LITTLE busy and didn’t help at all. He DIDNT CARE AT ALL. Amber was our waitress and she was taking care of all of the orders while the food was getting cold the manager was just sitting there watching it. Amber was absolutely amazing she talked to us about what was going on and you could tell how much she cared about her customers and trying to resolve the food issues. The manager NEEDS TO BE DEMOTED! Amber should be promoted to the manager because SHE was the one acting like it.

Misty is always so sweet, kind, and attentive, and Edmond is a fantastic manager, professional, welcoming, and genuinely caring. George is also super helpful and just an all around nice guy! They make every visit pleasant, and it’s why this is our favorite Denny’s location. We truly appreciate their kindness and great service every time we come in.
