Had an amazing experience at Desi Adda! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. One of the highlights was the live pani puri station—such a fun experience and the pani puri tasted just like authentic Indian street food. They also have a great selection of Indian street food, all perfectly spiced and freshly prepared.
The vibe is lively and welcoming, making it a great place to hang out with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. What an awesome find! My husband and I were in the area and happened across Desi Adda for a quick lunch. The food was fantastic and the staff so gracious, walking us through their entire menu and exposing us to new tasty Indian spices and treats (especially loved the sitafal milkshake). I would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back next time I’m in JC!

This was an experience! I was just walking by really hungry and wandered into this restaurant and the decorations are so cool and the staff are very friendly. They recommended that I try the kutchi sandwich, the sitafal milkshake, and the chocolate paan and they were all so good and interesting! And I saw some diners get a pani puri experience where staff filled their pani puri by turn, live in front of them. I loved this adventure!

“Desi Adda is a great place for authentic Indian street-style food. The first two pictures I’ve added are of their Delhi chaat and the last one is papdi chaat — all tasted amazing . I also loved the panipuri; they have 6 different flavours and each one was super good. The staff is polite, service is great, and the best part is that it’s pet-friendly — I even took my dog Jackie inside. Definitely worth visiting!”

We tried Bombay vada paw, Gol Gappe (with different flavors), Masala soda, Shahi Paneer with Paratha, and Samosa. All were delicious!

Tried Desi Adda in Jersey City and had a pretty decent experience overall. We ordered the Vada Pav, Chole Nan, Veg Sandwich, Misal Pav, Dahi Puri, and Aloo Cheese Wrap. The Vada Pav was good, though we personally prefer the one at Atul Bakery. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Dahi Puri — probably the best we’ve ever had! Perfect balance of flavors and textures. The rest of the items were just okay — nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. The service is a bit slow because I think they are short staffed but the staff is friendly and helpful.
A good spot if you’re in the mood for Indian street food, especially their chaats.

Ordered Chinese frankie, bombay club sandwich, bombay chaat, and rose falooda. Frankie flavorful, bhel crunchy and not soggy, falooda great finish. Nice casual evening snack place.They also gave us a complementary cold cocoa drink so nice and really chocolatey loved it.

I absolutely loved this place Desi Adda. This spot is amazing for Indian street food – it truly felt like I was back in the streets of India. The vada pav, golgappe with six flavors, and the Frankie were all incredible. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I really loved it and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!

Had a great experience at Desi Adda in New Jersey! I tried their sandwich combo and was honestly impressed-freshly made, well-seasoned, and super flavorful. The portion size was perfect, and the sandwich tasted even better than I expected. Panipuri is must try. I paired it with a cold soda, which made the whole meal really satisfying.
The staff was welcoming, the service was quick, and the place has a nice, clean vibe.
