It was not worth it in my opinion. Food tasted sub par.
Atmosphere was dated. Staff were friendly but service was not the best.
Huge variety of food. Lunch was 25 per head but I personally did not think it was worth it al all.
I will not be coming back.
Overall I would give this place less than average scores
We decided to try their Sunday buffet despite mixed reviews. You enter in the dining room but you go through the restaurant to the ballroom for the actual dining experience.
The first thing you’ll notice is that the tables seat 10 as they are used for events. The buffet is set up in chaffing dishes lined up in a very strange manner. As someone who did catering for 20+ years I would have arranged the buffet much differently and had two sternos under each chaffer to keep the food hot but they did not have that today. They also did not have buffet attendants to answer questions about the food.
There is a breakfast section with two kinds of eggs, potatoes w/chorizo, sausage, pancakes, french toast and the star: Biscuits & Gravy! This was my favorite part of the buffet.
The row of chaffers across from the breakfast food had mexican food and that is where I noticed the food did not have proper heat to keep it warm. That being said, it was for the most part, good. Except for the enchiladas which were dry and tasteless. There was a appetizer area with chips (not house made) and queso, taco meat that could have used alot more seasoning, pico de gallo, pickled jalapenos. It was extremely average.
The dessert station was on a table with trays of pasteries and some Arroz Con Leche. For $20 per person we expected Flan or Tres Leches to be honest.
There was a freestanding cart with some jello and fruit in the middle of the room that I found to be very misplaced. Why did they not put it with the desserts? Made no sense and blocked the main buffet areas. But, as I said, I set up weddings, parties and corporate events and it was apparent that they did not have anyone to specialize in that setting up the food. Or attending to it. The manager did make his rounds once while we were there.
Our server Araceli was very good and attentive and I would highly recommend asking for her when you go. She brings house made tortillas to your table :). We will return and ask for her.
Other than that, the food was excellent, the service perfect – and the entertainment so enjoyable that we stayed well after we finished dinner. The man who sings Elvis is exceptional. I would not call him an “Elvis Impersonator”, as he doesn’t exhibit all the glitz and flash you would expect from that description. But he does a great job of representing the King. If you have the opportunity to see / hear him, by all means, do so.
FYI: The restaurant listing said the show starts at 6 pm. It actually started at 8 with a warm-up act of a man singing classic Country. And he was really good too
