This was the first time to Teds Montana Grill. The inside was alittle smaller than expected. I think the inside could have been bigger to seat more people. The appetizer was outstanding, it was the fried chips and dip. The service was fast and customer service was top notch. The employees definitely took pride in there appreance. I also tried the bison steak, was cooked perfect and very flavorful. Will definitely be back to teds.

My husband and I had our first date here, and he proposed here. We love everything about this place. The food is always perfect, the ambiance is nice, and we’ve never had anything but exceptional service. We’re very partial to Sami, so if you have the pleasure of being served by her, make sure you take good care of her! Look at her going the extra mile on my birthday dessert!

Came in on a Wednesday night, I joined the waitlist on Yelp and there wasn’t much of a wait when we got there. The inside is nice, dimly lit, perfect for a little date night.
Service was great! I think our server was Sammi? She was attentive and gave great recommendations.
It was my first time having bison, and not gonna lie, I had very high expectations. The burger was great, but really; if you put a beef burger in front of me and a bison one, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
Next time, I’ll definitely have to try a bison steak. Maybe that’ll be a lot more different.
About $100 for 2 people after tip.

I had dinner with my family and had a great time. The food was extremely tasty (I recommend the bison burger wholeheartedly) and everyone commented on how good the food was.
The standout was our server, Sami. She was fun and funny, gracious and made us feel very welcome. Things had slowed down a bit so she was able to talk to us at the end of the night and we truly enjoyed seeing the personal side of her. She’s a gem!
The rest of the experience was also quality. Comfortable seating, a nice surrounding, and not too loud despite some large groups.

Love their food, however their food quality has gone down hill. I was served moldy apple crisp and skins of onions instead of onion rings. The manager apparently doesn’t care as I got no response after emailing them through their website. Update: I emailed Maggie and get no response either.

I love this place. First time here was in 2020 during Covid. I came back just recently in July 2025 and brought the whole family. Food was great. Our server was a little slow. No refill on our drinks. And took a long time to bring our check out. Other than that it was great.

Ted’s turkey dinner is such a treat; it tastes like a made-from-scratch homemade meal. They serve it on Sundays only, and often run out of it in the early afternoon. The meal includes turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots and a roll. Check out the photo. So yummy! Can’t wait to have it again!

I was here from out of town and wanted to try some bison for the first time. I ordered the Bison burger chili size and it was amazing. It was seasoned to perfection and prepared to the correct temperature. It was quite busy and every seat at the bar was taken and the dining room was pretty full, but there was only one bartender. She was a great bartender but she was overwhelmed by the sheer number of drinks. It just took a long time for drinks, until it slowed down. The manager was jumping in when he could, but he was also helping the dining room and the kitchen.
If I would go again I would not choose to sit at the bar, at least during happy hour or when the sun is going down. The sun shines directly at your back while you are seated and it gets quite warm.

I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. Went for lunch on a Friday, there wasn’t a long wait until we got to the table. Our server took a minute to get there but he was great when he did show up. Overall, we were there for over an hour. The steak was okay. Asked for medium, got more medium well. But the sides were awful. Both potatoes and broccoli were undercooked and cold, left pretty much all of it on the plate. The bill was about $110. Extremely disappointing and won’t go back, there’s too many places in Colorado Springs that are much better.

Our server, Hal, was awesome! Unfortunately, the restaurant is experiencing reduced staff in both front of the house and in the kitchen. We waited a long time for food, and when it came out, it was basically cold. I’m still giving a good review, because Hal did everything he could to make it a good experience for us. At one point, he actually had to go back to the kitchen to help cook the food! That man deserves a raise, or maybe should be promoted to manager.
Typically, the restaurant is always on point, But this location is struggling. I genuinely hope they can get things worked out, because the serving staff takes the brunt of complaints, and it’s not their fault.
We wish Hal the best of luck, because he was definitely the hardest working person there that night!
