Land Ocean is a great spot if you’re looking for a solid meal with top-tier service. We had a variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was consistently good.
For appetizers, the crispy calamari, crispy wonton chips with queso, and the mushroom pastry bites were all flavorful and a great way to start the meal. For the main course, the steak and fried seafood combo and the fish and chips were both well-prepared and satisfying.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Went for happy hour. Bar was clean, service was prompt, and food was excellent. Had the artichoke and prawns .. then ordered the mussels. Had the vanilla old fashioned. All were well priced and yummy.

Dropped in after a movie for a late lunch. We have eaten at this location previously. The staff was great, it was the food that was not great today. My Burger was overcooked and dry, fry’s were not hot and seemed like they were sitting for awhile. We will try again perhaps an off day for the chef staff.

I had the Filet and it was cooked to the right temperature and was Tender. The Mashed Potatoes were very good. The demiglaz sauce for the Filet was excellent. The Chocolate Lava Cake was great, but better with two people.

Im so disappointed to have to write this review, however, the way my friends and I were treated today by Steven the L&O Roseville GM was appalling. My coworkers and I ordered more than $50 worth of food to enjoy during our 30 minute lunch break. The hosted said we could sit in the bar at one of the booths to enjoy our food (ordered “To-go” just in case we couldn’t finish it in time). I ordered food ahead of time and was eating at the booth and waiting for my coworkers food to come out. However, when the GM Stephen DeGraaf came out to give us the rest of our food, he told us that we can’t sit at the bar and that we could sit outside on the patio instead. Upon asking the reason behind his request, he answered that the bar area was reserved for happy hour. We then said that we were unaware of their policy and explained that the host said it was okay, being mid-meal, we promised next time that we would sit outside instead.
That promise was met with, “there won’t be a next time, it’s now.” In shock, my coworkers and I decided to ask clarifying questions to see the reasoning behind the request for us to move, since we had ordered some of our food from the happy hour menu. Unfortunately, despite our efforts to understand the situation, we were met with an aggressive and hostile response from the GM and bartender(who served our drinks) forcing us to leave. We didn’t even get the chance to pay for the drinks we ordered (in addition to our to-go food).
So disappointed.
