I had one of the most disappointing and frustrating dining experiences at this Bob Evans location. From the moment I walked in, it was clear I was not being treated with the same level of respect or attentiveness as other customers.
There was a noticeable lack of urgency or care from the staff when it came to my table. I waited far longer than necessary to be seated, and once I was, it felt like I became invisible. Other guests were greeted warmly, served quickly, and regularly checked on — meanwhile, I had to repeatedly ask just to get basic service. Silverware, drink refills, even placing my order — all required extra effort on my part just to get a response.
What was even more upsetting was the undertone of racial bias I experienced during my visit. The difference in how I was treated compared to other (white) guests was too stark to ignore. No customer should ever feel dismissed or disrespected because of the color of their skin, and unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed by management immediately. The staff at this location needs serious retraining on professionalism, equity, and basic customer service. I will not be returning, and I hope this serves as a wake-up call for Bob Evans corporate and regional leadership to take a hard look at the culture and accountability at this store.

I have been to a lot of Bob Evans in this one, the experience was extremely different. After several minutes of waiting, I was seated at a booth and the waitress was very kind and polite. But what I did not like was once I asked for the fans to be turned off which was not a problem, there was an odor. This order only comes from when the flooring is not properly or when the countertops are not wiped down properly. You know that don’t smell after something has not been cleaned. And I feel that that fan was turned off for those purposes. Then when I receive my silverware, my silverware was dirty. And the waitress kindly asked if I would like to have a glass of hot water so that I can put my silverware inside and I said yes. And that was very polite. But the part that really got me upset was when I left I asked for a cup for my home maid pink lemonade. And when I pour that pink lemonade inside of the paper cup, I discovered the inside of the glass that the pink lemonade was in was extremely dirty. I should have took a picture of it but I was just so tired and frustrated I just left. So just to management, to make sure that the staff make sure that the filter for the dishwasher is cleaned out because the hard water that we have here in Toledo we do have hard water. And sometimes glasses need to be scrubbed on the inside and the dishwasher can always get the scrubs with hot water.

I feel like bob evans has gone down hill. The portions are very small. Service is always mediocre. This particular time i ordered the homestead breakfast. When i got my food (it took quite a long time to get) i had 2 eggs that were half missing, literally they gave me 2 yolks on a plate , the white was gone.. it comes with bisquits and gravy. They give bisquits and like 2 tablespoons of gravy in a tiny shallow dish. They barely give u any hashbrowns a very small amount that always seems to be almost burnt to a crisp on one side and aldente on the other side. Like not even cooked on the other side. Bottom line is they got too big and became too corporate and their food is showing it. Its not the same bob evans from when we were younger. There are many great places for breakfast but i dont feel that bob evans is one of them.

We had a great experience at this Bob Evans! The food was good and the waitress was fabulous. We had so much fun. The chef prepared my broccoli to perfection… and we told him so! It was a delightful stop as we traveled through.

The staff likes to ignore you when you walk in the door gives DoorDash and extremely hard time has an attitude all of the staff especially the manager. You can’t even ask a ETA on a meal without getting attitude back extremely negative environment to be in.

WORST MEAL EVER. we ordered a take home dinner from Bob Evans on Rynolds for Thanksgiving this year.
That was a big mistake. Not only was the food cold ( it as listed as being “hot ready to eat”) but it was horrible tasting. no flavor what so ever on the ham slices corn, mashed potatoes. Even the pie was nasty tasting…The dinner rolls were so hard and dried out that no amount of re-heating could even rescue them
This was not the Thanksgiving i paid for.

This was my 1st time. There was a lil wait just to get my name on the list but everyone was running their butts off & short staffed, so we waited patiently.we got our seats fairly quick. Food was absolutely amazing!! Everything it was cranked up to be!!! I tried their mocha coffee(WOW!!) and had chicken fried steak with sausage gravy. I enjoyed every bite and didn’t leave anything left over!
Also looks like a friendly place to work, if anyone is looking for a job.

I went in to get a to go order. They first gave me a menu that they give the people who are eating in. After looking over it for a minute the host came over and said you need to order off the Togo menu and she handed me the Togo menu. There was different prices on the to go menu. More expensive for the same food. So I left and won’t go back.
