But a few minutes later, I realized this place plays in a different league.
The first thing that caught my eye was how fresh everything looked. The staff moved around quietly but constantly, switching trays, wiping counters, even checking food temperature like clockwork. You could tell they care. The kind of care that doesn’t need fancy words, it just shows up in every clean plate, every warm smile.
And then came the meats.
This is where the story changes.
One skewer after another, the aroma of roasted beef and sausage filled the air. Perfectly charred outside, juicy inside, it’s clear that the meat is the real star here. If you love good grilled meat, this is your kind of heaven.
The buffet itself is a blend of simplicity and heart. Some of the simplest dishes, like the garlic-sautéed greens or the fried plantains, reminded me that food doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was pure sunshine, and that coconut cake at the end… rich, creamy, and just right.
Unlike most Brazilian steakhouses that feel fancy and pricey, this place is down-to-earth and welcoming, you get the same authentic taste, just without the formality.
What makes this place even more special is how it’s half restaurant, half Brazilian market, you can feel the connection between food, culture, and community in one space.
I came expecting a casual meal.
I left thinking: this is what care tastes like.
I live in Los Angeles and wish we had a supermarket and restaurant like this one. The Brazilian market back home is so small and doesn’t carry nearly as many products.
At the restaurant, we ordered the Chapa Mista (BBQ platter) with a side of beans and a Limonada Suíça – everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors, the portions, the vibe – all perfect. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town!
