Lunch buffet is amazing. My favorite Indian food in all of Durham, and better than the places I’ve been to in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Winston-Salem! Props to the server who remembered that I love red onion chutney and brought it to me without me asking. So happy!

Ths was our first time coming to NaanStop, it was delicious! Friendly service, food came quickly and it was hot and fresh. Happi was our server…he welcomed us as first timers with a Mango Lassi (also yummy). I had an issue with my order and the chef came out, apologized and offered a worthy alternative. This high level of quality and customer service is (unfortunately) rare these days, but at NaanStop it feels like this is their default. We will definitely return, and look forward to supporting their other locations in Apex and Chapel Hill when it opens!

Traveling and was looking for a great meal. I FOUND IT! Quite possibly the best Indian good I’ve ever had. The chicken tzatziki masala was unbelievable. Highly recommend.

Having tried many other buffet places, I didn’t feel this place is worth $24 for buffet with the taste and number of items served. Taste is ok but are they worth the price ?Either taste should be absolutely phenomenal or items should be more to try with this taste instead what I got is oily samosa and oily pakoda, 2 chicken appetizers, 1 veg birynai, 1 chicken and 1 lamb entree, 2 veg entrees. Glad atleast service is pretty quick and responsive when you ask for naan or anything.

I’ve been to Naan Stop twice in the last month, and I absolutely recommend it! The food is incredible—this time, I had the butter chicken with bullet naan, and it was delicious. Last time, I tried the chicken tandoori and samosa, and they were just as amazing. The staff is great, and the owner was a true pleasure to chat with. Thanks again for the fantastic food and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the best buffet in town, hands-down. And I’m not just talking about Indian food. Happy, the server, great.

$19 for a cup (225-250ml) of butter chicken sauce and 1/2 of a chicken thigh (like 5-6 small pieces). Portions much smaller than any other Indian restaurant I’ve been too across the US, and simultaneously more expensive. Menu showed pictures of large portions, but that was nothing like the mouse-sized portion we got. I don’t know what the rest of the entrees are like. The naan we ordered came with two pieces/portions. I asked for the Duke discount (10%), but they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about, even though it was posted on the door. I ended up just giving up. Go to the Indian place in Broadhead for a much better deal and tastier food. I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but this one is well deserved.

I enjoyed their naan and moong daal halwa, unfotunately I did not enjoy anything else in their buffet. Aloo gobhi had so much oil, saag or palak had no taste. Chole and paneer were also not up to par. I will probably give it one more try and will update my review if I find things changed.
Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian buffet is the same price. FYI only.

Naan Stop is an absolute gem! Every visit is a flawless experience, exceptional food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The lamb tikka masala and garlic naan are simply irresistible; no matter how much I want to explore the menu, I can never pass up the chance to satisfy my craving. The flavors are bold, authentic, and consistently 10/10 every time.
Beyond the incredible food, the service is just as remarkable. The staff is polite, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making every meal even more enjoyable. The warm and inviting atmosphere completes the experience, making Naan Stop my go-to spot whenever I’m in Durham. I just can’t pass it up lol
I’ve had my fair share of Indian cuisine, but nothing compares to this place. Highly recommend!
