Café Fina, You So Fine – Santa Fe Reporter

Café Fina from owner/chef Murphy O’Brien hits the top of my list starting now, though. Frankly, it’s top-notch for anyplace, any highway.

We were visiting friends in Santa Fe and went to brunch. There was a little bit of a line to order but it was worth it.

We had huevos motulenos, breakfast burrito and El Dorado omelet. Everything was delicious! We’ll eat here again. The case of to -go items was tantalizing and tempting.

How does this place have anything less than five stars? I guess some folks just live to destroy others… not me.

The breakfast burrito should be called the breakfast lunch and dinner burrito. It is huge – and delicious! Get it Christmas style. The play of all of the flavors is just perfection. Honestly, this is probably the best breakfast I have enjoyed in my lifetime. I had it covered in cilantro as well and washed it down with their medium coffee… a perfect pair! Don’t sleep on this place. One burrito and you’ll be pondering a move to Santa Fe.

You can tell this place is popular before you even get inside. Cute and spacious inside. Warm greeting and patience from the gal running the register. She was kind enough to go through all of their flavors for lattes and was just delightful through our order.

We got 2 breakfast burritos, one with red and the other with green Chile. Interesting how different these were from each other. The green is more fresh tasting and has a lot of peppers in it. The red was pretty good too, we ended up switching plates mid way through our burritos for variety. You have to get to about the halfway point to get more bacon and to get to the potato. Worth it, imo.

We ordered a Mexican Mocha and Vanilla Latte and they were both delicious! This is definitely a “must try” spot if you’re in the area.

Best chicken sandwich, customized with green chilies. Super casual atmosphere, bustling on a Sunday afternoon, but still plenty of space even though the parking lot was almost full.

It’s not on the menu, but they can make an amazing vegan burrito if you ask! Got mine with red sauce and it came pretty quickly. I also got an iced oat milk latte that was great and big enough to share with another person!

Love love love this place!! Been here twice, they have phenomenal coffee and chai, and the food is out of the ballpark. Great omelettes and brunch-style foods. Slightly on the pricier end of food, but I would definitely say it’s worth it because the atmosphere, flavor, and presentation are all out of this world.

INCREDIBLE!! I apologize for my half-eaten food picture but WOW! I had the pesto omelet, and it is hands-down the best omelet I’ve ever had. Service was lovely. I also love that they support local artists by having their art and other local products for sale.

Excellent, fresh and tasty food. The hash brown was a little bit greasy but the rest was wonderful. Very accommodating staff regarding my food sensitivity. They gave me sides of everything I could eat. Gluten free bread, vegan option. I didn’t know the hot chai was coming with milk so they kindly replaced it with almond milk with no extra charge.
Really appreciated!
The food came less than 5 min after ordering.
Good food good people good business!

Seriously, one of the BEST breakfast places in Santa Fe….they serve lunch and I know that too is GREAT but I am a morning patron. May be the BEST breakfast burrito in Santa Fe (HUGE). Everyone is nice here and parking is simple. They have baked goods and pastry and also Good Coffee.

Right off I-25 just southeast of Santa Fe.

Opened promptly at 8am, and it was GOOD! Had simple breakfast with that cloudy, tasty apple juice. Ample portions, and service (they give you a numbered stand to display at your table and bring your order) was excellent.

Fresh, fresh pastries.

Next time we’re going from Las Vegas to Albuquerque, we will definitely stop here again!

That big coffee mug we just had to have! A bargain at $15.
