This is what happens when you put a little focus on quality – a fantastic restaurant.
This is the Argentine Benedict. Awesome flavor, eggs cooked perfectly, and a nice piece of real steak cooked properly (leave it to an Argentinian to get steak right).
Put this place on your must-go list!

I travel a lot for work and love trying local joints. This didn’t disappoint. Local diner with an Argentinian flair. The quality and freshness was immediately noticeable. The coffee was very good (diner coffee usually sucks). I had the omelet with chorizo and feta. Not greasy or fatty at all. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything was great!
The empanadas are amazing, they really feel like they are homemade, the food is really good. Julia’s service was exceptional, I hope she attends to you if you plan to come. In general, the staff is very friendly and the place is very cozy.
I’ll be back!

OK. First, let me state that I am an 80 year old, world traveler, with experience of many international and domestic cuisines, and I expected typical cafe fare. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly – no waiting, by the very competent staff. Our order also arrived quickly, and nice and hot. I had the Country Benedict, which is a country biscuit with a sausage patty, poached egg, and sausage gravy, with roasted potatoes. Sounds simple and hearty, and it is, but every element was perfectly done, and the taste combination is greater than the sum of its parts. The biscuit was soft with a slight crunch around the edge; the egg was a perfect poach, with no runny white, but plenty of hot runny yoke; the sausage patty was just browned with a slightly caramelized surface, and the sausage gravy was smooth and creamy with plenty of sausage crumbles. The staff seemed happy, and to genuinely like each other, their jobs, and their customers. To sum it up, and without exaggeration, this was the very best breakfast of my life.

Wake Up Cafe was the perfect start to my morning! We were greeted by some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met. I am a breakfast food connoisseur and this place is now one of my top favorites! The presentation was also beautiful! Also, I was so happy they had gluten free bread! Total game changer for a gluten free girl!

A local breakfast spot that knocks it out out of the park. With a Spanish and Argentinian influence, the food goes against the mundane of your typical diner.
Upon entering, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Food was prompt, didn’t feel like I even waited, even with it being a full house!
As for the food, today I indulged on the Lomito a Caballo (pictured) the freshness of the tomato stood out the most, it complimented the ham and steak beautifully. Definitely didn’t leave hungry after that dish and will have again.
Also bought some empanadas to go, have not eaten them yet as of writing this but I can assure you the scent that is emanating from my to go box is making me wish I wasn’t so full from breakfast.
Highly recommend giving Wake Up Cafe a try!
P.s. this was not my first time eating here, nor will it be my last, just figured it’s finally time to say something! Enjoy!

I came here with my 3 young boys and the service was amazing. My waitress was so sweet and seriously went above and beyond. I ordered coffee and she refilled it multiple times, even giving me a large to-go cup after we finished. I ordered some empanadas to go for us to eat at the beach later in the day and she insisted she carry it out to my car for me (so sweet!!)
The food was yummy diner food, my boys ordered pancakes, chicken strips and a fruit cup enjoyed it all! I appreciated that the fruit was FRESH sliced oranges, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. I got the JP Benedict (I think that’s what it’s called – it’s chorizo sausage links, with poached eggs and a queso sauce all over English muffins) and the home fries and I really enjoyed it! The potatoes especially were super delicious.
I can not recommend this place enough!

My husband and I just finished eating here for the first time. YUM!!! I got JPs Benedict and he got the Latin Stack. We also each got a cappuccino. The food was delicious and we loved the Argentine & Spain influences throughout the menu. We will definitely be coming back!

Only had 1/2 biscuit and geavy after a medical test. Was best I’ve ever had! And I am sure it wasn’t because I was fasting from 16 hours previously! It was just obviously handmade and fantastic! Best coffee I’ve had out in a while also! Will drive there just for that again occassionally!!
