Had lunch here. Chicken was juicy, husband’s burger was cooked the way he liked it with nice thick cut bacon. I swiped one of his onion rings and they were great as well. Only complaint, I wanted a body by bacon shirt and they didn’t have my size (sm).

This is the second time I’ve tried to give this place a chance. The very first time I came with a client of mine (healthcare field) and the service was awesome. However when it came time to pay and cash out the manager himself was a true tool….

This time today, we sat down around 8:45. I asked for a specific seat due to my anxiety here lately and we were seated in the window room. Waited all the way till 9:00 and saw the waitress go to another table that had come in after us. Again I understand that we were asked to sit in a spot where it wasn’t necessarily convenient however I’m sure the waitress was notified or should have been notified that we were there. When leaving (because I’m not going to wait any longer, 15 minutes is plenty) manager was like You have a good day now and gave this crooked smile.

Not sure if that was done on purpose, but I will say this was the second time that I gave it a “chance” and if that was the end-all be all they blew it!!!!

On this particular day, I must express my disappointment with the breakfast service at Mr. Bob Evans. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not particularly busy, the wait time for our food was excessively long.

Furthermore, the presentation of my meal left much to be desired. I ventured outside of my usual preferences and ordered the steak tips and eggs with home fries. As the adage goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and in this case, the visual aspect of my dish was unappetizing.

Although I chose not to make a scene, considering that it was Mother’s Day weekend and I wanted to focus on my mother’s enjoyment, I must mention that she also had reservations about her meal. While she appreciated the pancakes, she found the sausage to be peculiar in taste.

On a positive note, the donut dippers were quite enjoyable.

While the prices were reasonable, the overall experience was not satisfactory due to the lack of culinary enjoyment.

Not a good day for our sever. I’m not sure what was going on. I’m not trying to get the server in trouble.
Another server took our order and told us someone else was our sever.
Our actual sever finally came to our table and said food shouldn’t be much longer. We’ll, we waited almost one hour for our food. We had to remind the server what came with my brothers order. In the meantime the couple across from us didn’t get waited on and they left. We finished our food and waited another 15 minutes or more for our ticket, along with 2 other couples waiting also.
I don’t think the server knew what tables he had.
However, not knowing the circumstance, I still left a tip.
Just maybe let this will be a lesson to know the area you are to be serving and observe all of your customers so they get good service.
Also, at checkout, I’m not sure if it was a manager at checkout but they need to be more hospitable and professional. Didn’t get a thank you, or come back again at all. He didn’t ask how was your service. He knew there was three couples waiting for tickets because he told the server that we were all looking and watching for him. The manager could have stepped up to help out.
I’m sorry but I probably will not go back to that location.

Best Breakfast in town, great food , great service and great value! Diane was very pleasant and truly cared about her guest. The whole hog breakfast platter was huge! We will certainly be back and recommend you give them a try.

Ordered Honey chicken on biscuits. Chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Couldn’t finish it. Told waiter when he finally came back to check on us and he had no idea what to do. Sorry was all he said and handed us the check. We used to love this place. Food was good. People were nice. Now, neither are any good.

Bob Evans in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for a home-style meal. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant, and the service is usually great. However, there is one thing that could use some improvement: the front host, Debbie.

Debbie is not really rude, but she is very mean towards customers. She was throwing things around, talking under her breath about customers, and even told an 80 year old to hurry up, as she didn’t have all day. She ended up just letting him find his own table.

If you can get past Debbie, the rest of the experience is great. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant, and the service is usually great. I would definitely recommend Bob Evans in Myrtle Beach, but I would suggest avoiding Debbie if you can.

Here are some tips for dealing with a bad host:

Be polite and respectful, even if she/he is not.
Try to ignore her/him if they are being mean.
If they are really rude, you can ask to speak to a manager.
You can also leave a review on Yelp or Google Maps to let other people know about your experience.
I hope this helps!

Excellent place for breakfast anytime. We had pot roast and a two meat breakfast. Home fries were excellent. Loved the bacon and sausage. Place was quite, which made a family meal enjoyable. Service was fast and the food was just right.

Food was good, but the service lacking. Home of the “America’s Farm Fresh” motto and simple homestyle cooking. Established in Rio Grande, Ohio, Bob Evans opened a 4-stool, 6-table diner serving made from scratch meals at an honest-to-goodness value. Now, 70 years later, Bob Evans Restaurants are king of the comfort food serving in 18 states. Inside, one can find a limited bakery and gift shop. A large dining area with comfortable booths, heavy, padded chairs and tables sectioned off with high back dividers. High ceilings, hanging lights and farm chic theme. Carpet is worn and in need of replacing but overall the place is clean. Our server Shelby was friendly, bringing us menus, water and taking our orders. We were very impressed with the speed of our food being served by another server who noted that we needed butter for my biscuits and napkins. She promised to return with those two items. She did not. My Sunshine Skillet was an open-faced omelet that was piping hot loaded with Bob Evans® sausage, golden-brown home fries smothered in country gravy and melted cheddar cheese. Two freshly-baked, flaky biscuits came on the side and they were worth every bite. Even without butter. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful skillet with the chunky sausage and fries, the simple egg shell and the homestyle gravy. We completed our meal with no butter, no extra napkins and two empty glasses. I guess drink refills and “how was your meal?” are no longer prerequisites for good customer service. Shelby did make a last ditch appearance with our check. That certainly wasn’t forgotten.

After running around town all night, we decided to stop off here. We had never been to a Bob Evans before and were excited to try it. The prices looked good as did the food… that’s where it stopped. The food was absolutely flavorless. Like…seriously almost no flavor at all. How does bacon not have any flavor? A burger with an egg and hashbrowns with no flavor… and it was doing with grease. My wife got a chicken sandwich and same thing for her…she piled on honey mustard just to taste something. The sweet tea did have flavor… and not a good one… unless you like instant tea.
Service was ok although we waited for quite a while (7-10 minutes) for our waitress to stop talking to the other waitress to be able to flag her down to get it. I wouldn’t go back.
