One of our favorite places to eat. The food is always hot and the service is excellent. The BBQ is very good, but the Karl’s Catfish is outstanding! They have the best restaurant collard greens in town and the potato salad has good flavor! My wife likes the smoked turkey salad (I don’t think thats the actual name). The menu seems like it has changed since covid but there are plenty of options to chose from. My second go to meal are the ribs.
There is also a well stocked bar at this location. A cold beer with hot fish is hard to beat! A bourbon after the meal is even better!!!

Fantastic meal with the family. I had Baby back ribs and my son got a huge bbq nachos platter. Wife had a bbq stuffed potatothat was about as big as a football! Everything was great. Quick service will come back. Easy on off exit of I 65

Waitress was not very knowledgeable about gluten free, but she did go ask the kitchen. The menu’s are marked with the GF symbol next to the ones you can get. No dedicated area for gf so cross contamination is possible. I did not have any problems.

Wow! First time having BBQ in Alabama exceeded our high expectations! We loved everything, and especially the pulled pork! Amanda was a wonderful server and was kind and answered all our questions. We’ll return next time we’re back in town!

We stopped in today and had a wonderful experience! Our waiter Apollo was attentive and kind. We got the Brisket Mac and Cheese Bombs and the Loaded Queso with Cheddar Jalapeno Sausage for appetizers and for our entree we both chose a Half Chicken with Morgan Co White Sauce our sides were the Onion Rings and Mac and Cheese. The chicken was flavorful and tender even better than the Jasper location. The Brisket Mac and Cheese Bombs were so flavorful! I did not like the sauce they gave us personally but dipped in the ranch and even plain was delicious. The loaded queso was amazing and that sausage has no business being that good. I hope they keep both appetizers I would visit just for those two items.

Our waitress was kind and her beautiful soul was reflected in everything about her down to her earrings! The food was wonderful and the staff are so kind. The men’s bathroom had bugs on the toilet and pee on the floor, but I know we all have bad days. We all enjoyed our food and had a wonderful time… Bless this fine establishment!

I was recommended by a friend that I needed to try this place and it didn’t take long to discover why the staff and food is amazing I’m not a turkey fan because it’s usually dry well this place will change your mind on that hesitation had me but with the opportunity for 2 different choices I went for it and to the other restaurant’s in this country come see how it’s done ✔️ the pork was off the hook and the homemade sauce should be going home with you and it’s for sale and when was the last time you seen deviled eggs on a appetizers (yes sir) now that’s some home cooking don’t miss this one try the catfish after all of that I was given a opportunity to save 5.00 for a review I already was going to so I just added that to the tip well deserved
