We chose bars seats as we were not staying long and didnt wanna comsune a table.
Michelle the bartender/ cook/ waitress/ and everything else i could possibly think of was nothing less then amazing.
Very attentive! I had multiple questions ( out of towners ) and she took time every chance she had to have a conversation.
The icing on the cake- wait for it … a sign that said feed the chickens ask your server… I told my friend im asking and got laughed at like im a sucker and its a joke – NOPE. You most certainly can feed chickens after your meal!
Not to mention the take out prices.
10 outta 10… go visit Michelle and tip her well! She is one of the hardest workers I’ve come across in a long while.
We had pineapple and orange drinks. They came out in those small, flimsy, disposable 3 oz cups. The Soda cup was about double the size.
For appetizers, we got the Onion Rings which were very good. Fried Calamari was very tender, not crispy, and had a strange taste. The Clam Casino was good and hot, but the clams were very small. The last one was the Hearty Pasta soup in a bowl. The bowl was small and soup was very salty. This soup can be a dip for bread instead of butter.
For entrees, the Grilled Chicken had 2 evenly flattened chicken grilled somewhat perfectly. They have no taste beside the grilled flavor. The green vegetable on top was probably green peppers. Those were not grilled and mushy. Neither had any flavor.
Spaghetti Marinara looked amazing when it came out. But the marinara was lacking in flavor. It came with the Steak Fries.
The Tiki Burger was ordered medium rare. It came out medium and seems to have lost a lot of its juices.
This place add gratuity regardless of the number of people.
The services were quick, prompt and simple. After the food came out, they did not ask us anything anymore.
The short ribs were okay, the lasagna was disappointing but the fried calamari was good. It seemed like reheated food rather than food cooked fresh. The drinks were more alcoholic than tasty and so it depends on preference. My Pina colada was like a frosty.
I wouldn’t go back.
We dined inside, tables were ok but had old plastic tableclothes. Service was great! Super nice folks! Food was pretty decent. I did find it odd the check had gratuity then brought me a copy to sign with a place to add it again. That seems unprofessional because I typically tip more but I didn’t because of this.
Got cheesey garlic bread for an appetizer. My partner and I split a 12 oz ribeye with a side salad and roasted potatoes (the sides were included).
I’m picky with my steak and they cooked ours perfectly and it was delicious . The potatoes were delicious, seasoned perfectly.
All the food was amazing, definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area!
The fried calamari was great, The batter was absolutely perfect not too crunchy but very light and crispy, the calamari was cooked perfectly not chewy not mushy the best we’ve ever had!
The seafood medley over spaghetti was absolutely perfect, a generous portion of perfectly cooked spaghetti with an excellent sauce and also a generous portion of shrimp clams muscles and scallops all cooked to perfection!
I highly recommend anyone who loves Italian to try this restaurant! This was our first time there and we will be back for more!
The chicken parm and fries were the best items and were okay…soup was okay. Shrimp scampi was boiled spaghetti and steamed shrimp. How do you call yourself an Italian restaurant and serve this..bro, no wine and butter sauce..no seasoning. The dish was literally white, such a disappointment. The burger was on a damp potato bun…toast it at least. Fish and chips was a fish sandwich on damp potato buns.
In my opinion, when in the area, stick to national brands, at least they have standards to maintain.
