We were in Kent visiting my daughter and chose Megan’s Family Restaurant for lunch! It was just a short ride to the quaint and welcoming downtown of Ravenna. We were a little worried because there were a lot of people and only two servers. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken almost immediately. The menu is diverse and creative. My son chose the footlong hot dog platter and was a very happy young man. My daughter ordered the Sausage Platter (fresh made home fries, grilled onions, ground sausage and sausage gravy, with two eggs and toast of your choice). She loved it all but needed to take over half home to enjoy later! What a filling meal! I ordered the Steph Burger. The menu says it’s a quarter pound but I’m convinced it’s more. It comes with BBQ, bacon, cheese, and an onion ring on top. I ordered it without the BBQ and added mustard, mayo and ketchup. I also traded the fries for onion rings (so worth the extra $2.75 …. They were JUST PERFECT). The hamburger was so delicious as well. We were all very happy with the service, the food, and the price. Soft drinks are about $3 each but even with that we were under $40 for the three of us! They serve breakfast all day and are open until 7 on weekdays and until 1PM on weekends. The atmosphere is very “family restaurant style” with the old round seat chairs that can be uncomfortable for same. We will definitely be back!

I order the recommended sausage platter which came with home fries, sausage gravy topped with 2 eggs plus a side of toast. My brother order the corn beef hash.
Both were good, but did lack some flavor or salt not that I’d rather it be full of salt. I’d go back for sure.
Service was great and they are quick about run around time so you won’t wait long.

Hope the waitresses that were working on 11/14/25 and stole my wallet made good use of the money. At least they threw it out in the street/sidewalk and I was able to get my cards back after someone turned it in to Police.

Good food, they were pretty steady. Had one server until around 9, she was definitely running. But very friendly. I was only confused on how the cottage cheese and applesauce cost more than the ham and bacon … But everything else was fine. We got our food quickly and it was delicious. The server seemed busy so we didn’t ask for a to go box. Probably my biggest regret lol

Went here after fasting for blood work and had my coffee mug with me, waitress was Really Rude in telling me To take my mug back out to my car, I cannot bring it in. She could of said it Nicely instead of Nasty! Will Never Go There Again! Go to the Horseshoe Dinner Instead! They are Very Friendly and Polite!
