The also had a menu that could easily mislead people. For example, they had Hakka noodles for $16.99. One would assume that the price included some kind of protein. But no, the small print stated that chicken would be $2, extra, shrimp $3 extra and even eggs cost $1 extra. It may be ‘Hakka’ but it’s still plain rice noodles that cost $17 bucks!!
I hope the restaurant can make some changes and think long-term instead of trying to maximize short-term profit. The interior was good and it was clean. The serving staff was helpful and courteous, which is a big plus.
One Vegetarian and One Non Vegetarian.
The Vegetarian Briyani was fridge cold from inside and hot from outside. It was microwaved.
Called the server and asked if it was microwaved. Got the reply that he is just an employee and will check from the kitchen.
Came back and offered to cancel the item.
I asked again if it was microwaved? No response.
Now a lady comes and tells me that they make the Biryani in the morning and they microwaved it.
Then I asked if the other Non Vegetarian Biryani was also microwaved?
No response again.
Asked to talk to the manager- got the response that he’s not here.
The occasion was a lowkey birthday dinner that was completely spoiled as one person didn’t get to eat and then the mood was spoiled without any apology from the staff.
Only come here if you love eating microwaved biryani.
PS- Dined in on the night of 17th Feb.
The chicken biryani, Chicken 65, and curries are all tasty and reliable every time.
Even the fried rice is one of the best I’ve had.
It’s hard to find places that maintain the same quality across dishes, and Hyderabad House is definitely one of those rare spots.
Always a satisfying experience.
I dont why i got ulavacharu pulav
y rice is mixed with ulavacharu it feels kie sambar rice whie eating
The chicken used is bone and it is deep fried in oil then used for this recipe …though it is not fresh we can feel …..
Biryani ani teesesi ulavacharu rice ani pettandi menu lo ….sambar rice laga
We started with a mix of appetizers – Veg 555, Gobi Manchurian, and Chicken Kodiveppudu – and honestly, each one was a hit. The Veg 555 had just the right amount of spice and crunch, the Gobi Manchurian was perfectly crispy with that tangy sauce, and the Chicken Kodiveppudu was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
For the main course, we went with the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani and Paneer Butter Masala. The biryani was amazing – fragrant, flavorful, and had that perfect balance of spice without being overwhelming. The paneer butter masala was rich, creamy, and paired so well with the fresh naan.
Everything tasted authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Portion sizes were generous too, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
Overall, this place easily became one of my favorites – amazing food, great service, and a menu I can’t wait to explore more of. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re looking for delicious Indian food!
We have had Guntur Chilli Dosa three different times, yes it’s that good, and the Sambar is very tasty. For me it is important that the Sambar is really good. For my better half she liked the coconut chutney. In the photo you will notice the Gunter spice on the dosa as I took closeup photo.
We also tried the Chili Paneer Dosa, which was also tasty.
The Goat Dum Biryani is the first thing that we tried and really enjoyed it. (They could put a bit more goat pieces in the biryani).
Must try the Apollo Fish it was Recomended by George and it was wonderful tasting.
Our order was taken by George, he is a wonderful person and knows his South Indian dishes and has always Recomended me the most delicious tasty offerings and he has not disappointed me with his selection.
George talked highly of the chef and sous chef and how they cook with their heart. And I will second that, because the dishes come out are tasty and you can see the care and love in the food. Which makes all the difference.
George is a wonderful front of the house team member at Hyderabad House, they are lucky to have him.
I will post some photos of the food.
