Had such a great experience at Wooga Korean BBQ. We ordered pork belly, beef tongue, and short rib — and the short rib was so good that we ended up ordering a second round. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying.

The beer was ice cold and went perfectly with the meat. There’s honestly nothing better than grilling meat and taking big bites with beer. The banchan were also delicious, especially the mashed potato (or sweet potato) salad — that one really stood out. The kimchi pancake was also excellent — crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor.

We went as a group of four around 5:00 PM and were lucky to get the last spot. By the time we finished around 6:30 PM, there was already a long line outside, so I’d definitely recommend coming early.

The staff helped grill the meat for us, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, amazing quality meat, great service, and such a fun dinner. Would absolutely come back again.

We visited Wooga and were impressed right away by the atmosphere and the excellent service — definitely a 5-star experience on that front. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from start to finish.

However, when it comes to the food, we were a bit disappointed. While everything looked beautifully presented, the quality and taste didn’t quite match the appearance. It’s possible we just came on an off day, but the flavor and overall experience with the dishes didn’t live up to our expectations.

Would we go back again? Yes, most likely. Given the great service and overall vibe, we’re willing to give it another try — hopefully next time the food will match the high standard of everything else.

A friend recommended this restaurant and since I was in the area , I decided to try it . The food was superb , the meat was tender and the portions were large . The place was packed and there was even a waiting list . I chose a steak assortment for two peple . There were several small dishes of vegetables and an egg dish served with it . It was delicious. I enjoyed my dinner . The service was great .

An absolute Gem! In an era of kbbq joints at every corner Wooga stands out above the rest considerably.

Packed restaurant but only waited 10min. Lots of parking but the lots a bit awkward and rugged. Initially felt like it would be a super hot stuffy location but it was actually super well ventilated which is so important for places like this. Food was phenomenal. The price you pay you absolutely get your moneys worth. All the meats are so fresh and tender. A++ quality meats. The staff are all very attentive and are great cooks. Your food will be cooked close to perfection, you’ll never have neglected meats that get overcooked or burnt. Banchan was all great selection and super tasty. You can always tell when a spot will be excellent by their banchan for sure. Soufflé steamed egg was actually soufflé. It was so fluffy and delicious, did not deflate on impact. Sauces were fantastic too. High quality kbbq. Legit!! This place is a must try/revisit.

Wooga in Fort Lee has become my go-to Korean Bbq restaurant. Anytime I visit NYC/Jersey, I look forward to eating here, and I always walk out remembering how good it is.

I usually order the Beef Set for 2, Beef Tongue, and the Buckwheat Noodles with Beef Broth. The Beef set comes with 8-10 Banchan, and choice of 2 hot sides. The Banchan is always fresh, and each one is fresh and delicious. You can make a meal just eating the Banchan. The Beef is always top notch! Each cut has its own flavor, but all of them are nice and tender. They also have different dipping sauces to pair with the Beef. The Scallion salsa, and warm dipping sauce were my favorite.

The cold Buckwheat Noodles is also a great dish. It’s even better on a hot summer day. It’s rich yet tangy and refreshing. The noodles have a perfect chew to them as well.

The restaurant is always busy, but you can see all the servers working really well together. The coordination from sitting you down to cleaning up is a site to see. Our server did an excellent job cooking our Beef and veggies. It’s really fun just watching the vibe of the restaurant.

In my opinion this is the Best Korean BBQ restaurant for your dollar around the NYC/Jersey area. I’ve been to a few places in Korea town, and they were all good, but this place stands above the rest. I look forward to my trip next year

It’s been a while since I had great Korean BBQ, and Wooga was definitely worth the drive into Jersey. Our server, John, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The meats were cooked to perfection right at our table, and I’d gladly come back for round two. If you’re near Fort Lee, definitely stop by for some quality KBBQ.

Wooga really hit the spot. Came in with a group of four and we ordered the Miyazaki Wagyu Rib-Eye, which was unbelievably tender, rich, and buttery. We also ordered the Pork set which came with pork belly, shoulder, jowl, and marinated rib. Each order came Steamed Egg and Kimchi Jigae. The spread of banchan was fresh, varied, and balanced the richness of the meat. They serve beer and Soju as well. The service was attentive and friendly, making sure the grill was handled smoothly without ever feeling rushed. It is walk-in only and usually busy, but the wait is more than worth it for the quality and experience.

Nothing on the menu is new or novel, but everything is unique and superb! We had no idea about this place, but saw the number of reviews and decided to give it a go. It looks like your standard Fort Lee Korean BBQ place – the burner tables, the smoke vacuum tubes, and lively Korean crowd. Then menu has nothing that stands out, it’s just your normal Korean BBQ fare. We ordered japjae, seafood pancake, corn and cheese, and beef bbq for two. Everything that came out was expected but the taste and flavor was not. Everything was delightful! The true measure of restaurants are not necessarily novelty, but the ability to make the mundane extraordinary! Every dish we ordered was superb – the flavors were always surprising. Everything was marinated and with rich flavors. Old delights were turned anew. The prices were a bit expensive but afterwards we see why. Definitely a treat! But the price keeps it from being a daily routine.

The place was small but cozy. The cuts and the meat were really nice and taste delicious. The cost a little bit high but I guess if you want to go and have a special time with friends may be worth it. However, since it was people waiting outside for a table our waiter was a little bit anxious so, we pay the bill and leave the table, no time for chitchat at all after eating, in case you want to go in a date or so. Also, when we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes to get a table. I don’t know it this is what always happens at night but I just mentioning so people that want to visit this place are aware that this may happen to them. You can not make a reservation ahead so it is what it is when you arrive there. Overall a nice experience.

The first time I ate at this place, I was truly impressed with both the food and the service. My son treated me to lunch and chose this restaurant because of its great reviews—and we definitely didn’t regret it. The food was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We ordered their Wooga Special Combo, and both the pork and beef were excellent—you can really taste the freshness. The steamed egg was cooked to perfection. Definitely worth the money!
