Chicken Dumpling soup was great (sorry about the black pepper), seemed homemade. The 1/2 rack of ribs and Broasted Chicken with sliced broasted potatoes was good. The chicken and potatoes were extra crispy with the seasoning spot on. All for under $15, can’t pass that up.

Tommy’s is a great spot for breakfast. When ordering, keep in mind they always give you one extra egg. I ordered two eggs (but received three), two slices of bacon, toast and hash-browns for the reasonable price of $9.65. My daughter had stuffed French toast, which she loved. Debbie, our server, was very kind and attentive. Just be aware that the weekend mornings tend to be a lot busier than the weekdays.

My wife and I stopped in, we’ve driven by many times. The interior is well laid out, plenty of booths. I noticed everything was very clean and shiny. The coffee is top-notch, some of the best we’ve ever had. My wife said she would just go for the coffee.
Her gyros salad was pretty good. And her split pea soup was delicious. I had farmers steak, over easy eggs with cheese and onions in the hash browns, wheat toast.
No complaints, bathrooms were clean. Wheelchair accessible, and our server Stephanie was very attentive. She continued to come back to the table throughout our experience. Top-notch!
A good menu, lots of choices, but not so many you become snow blind. This location deserves an excellent review and plenty of customers!

This is a great old school family restaurant right next to the ballpark. The food is delicious, the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is nostalgic. We all left breakfast very satisfied. I definitely recommend this great gem in Kenosha.

Huge portions. Food was very good. Prices are very reasonable to. The hostess and waitress were both very pleasant. Way to much to eat, had to bring quite a bit home with us, which was ok, because we had leftovers for the next day. I had steak and eggs and the steak was very good and pretty large for a breakfast steak and the price was really reasonable.

My son and I went there for the first time tonight. He ordered the Tommy skillet and I ordered the Gyro plate.
This place reminded us of a diner we had going to for years. We were seated promptly and two servers were working. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often.
The Gyro plate was great. All the vegetables were fresh and the meat was very good. The dinner also came with a soup or salad and great seasoned fries.
My son really liked his skillet and said the flavor was really good. I will be going back to try other options on the menu.

Home Run Inn is a great place for a traditional diner experience. Stopped in with the family for lunch. You can eat at the counter or enjoy your meal at a table. Stephanie is an awesome server, she been there a while and knows us by name. The owner Vicky is also regularly in the background making sure you have a memorable visit. They have a large variety of food choices. Breakfast is served all day and waffles are made to order. Something delicious for everyone. Had the huge turkey club for lunch filled with chunks of turkey and crispy bacon. It comes with their signature seasoned fries. Took half the sandwich home but I ate all the fries, every last one. Keep the coffee coming.

Had house omelet, excluded toast or pancakes.
Omelet filled the plate, HUGE! I almost couldn’t finish; 1 of my co-workers took his leftovers to go! I also got 3 strawberry crepes to go, also huge! For me, absolutely worth the experience!!!

Updated Review – 3/14/23: There is no way you can ever complain about not getting enough food at Tommy’s Home Run Family Restaurant! The portions are huge! I got the Turkey Club with fries, coleslaw, and soup. It was delicious! I had so much food, I had enough left over for lunch the next day. The service is friendly and FAST! I love eating at Tommy’s! I highly recommend eating here!
