This place is our go to whenever we crave pho! It is a bit old, but I don’t mind it because the food is very tasty!
The food is always served hot and fresh out of the kitchen! Portions are generous! I always ask for chilli oil and extra onion toppings for my pho!
The spring rolls are always crispy and goes well with the fish sauce!
Definitely great food and inexpensive!
The restaurant looks dirty. My seats were dirty and not cleaned.
Self order with a paper and a pen that were not available when we seated. You can seat wherever you want but it would have been nice to explain how it works like it’s on the customers to choose the meals and write down what they want. I am fine with the concept but I didn’t know it was like that there so it took time to be taking care of and served. Actually, after ordering it was pretty fast.
The washrooms were dirty and smelly.
You have to pay cash or debit. We still tipped… but do you usually tipped average/ high when you do half the work? I guess they still have dishes to wash so yes but the service isn’t the same where you get welcomed. We waited standing for a while before being told to go find a seat of our preferences.
My experience there wasn’t the greatest. The waiter / owner (I guess owner) was friendly and professional. The waitress seemed unfriendly. Maybe just a bad day but then our vibes were no longer the same.
Again, the food was great. What bother me was the cleanliness of our tables and seats which create fear of ‘how is it in the kitchen?’. Maybe water or soup dropped … but stickiness was there. Floor was not clean neither but we went at the end of the day so it could be different if we go at a lunch time.
Also we got a complimentary tea. Which is fabulous and excellent gesture. However, I never had a tea that is neither hot or cold. So the taste was.. interesting. Was it initially hot and then cooled down after a long time or cold and the ices were already all melt to no longer feel the cold?
Would I go back there? Not sure. I’d want to give it a try again because the food was tasty.
Service is super quick and broth is clean and delicious. Fair portion size with a lot of meats in the bowl. Tons of seating and the music they were playing for lunch was pop music.
Great place for a quick bow of Pho.
Staff is very nice and the food has lots of tasty variety. Currently eating 453. Vermicelli chicken lemongrass and am loving it!
A lot of clean and healthy options and the food leaves you feeling great and satisfied. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
M most recent visit was very disappointing. The pho was bland—more like watered-down bone broth than the aromatic, spice-infused soup it should be. We ordered the pho bo ga and received just one meatball in both the medium and large portion. While the overall meat content was generous and the portion sizes are still large for the price, the flavour and care just weren’t there.
Service was worse than I’ve ever experienced. We had to seat ourselves after being ignored, were served cold, stale tea in dirty glasses, and no one came for our order slip—we had to bring our paper slip to a staff member ourselves. The only other worker present was loudly talking on the phone at a table next to us, and another young staff member stood at the front the whole time but never came over, even though we were the only customers.
I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which used to be served in a traditional drip setup at the table. Instead, I received a plastic cup filled with ice and a grocery store instant coffee pack—definitely not worth $6.
This place once had excellent food and friendly service. While the portions are still big, the quality has dropped significantly, both in food and overall experience.
The pho and fried spring rolls are my go to.
Order was takeout bit would love to come back to eat in
