This was my second time dining here and once again, everything was absolutely fantastic. The food never disappoints! We ordered a variety of sushi, nigiri, and grilled fish, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care in each bite.

The sushi and nigiri were perfectly prepared, and the grilled fish was cooked just right — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service makes the whole experience even better.

Definitely one of my favorite Japanese spots. Can’t wait to come back again!

Hidden gem in the expensive Mayfair! The restaurant is kind of hidden near new Bond Street. It’s a perfect stop for a busy shopping day. They do lunch menu and the quality is decent. You have a main (sushi / sashimi / don) and salad and miso soup. They don’t run kids menu but you can order small plate for them, eg avocado rolls. Waiters and waitresses are very well trained and always wear a smile. Would recommend.
Waiting time: we didn’t wait and didn’t book the table. Though I believe it’s a bit of a luck. We had to return the table within 1.5hr but that’s enough for a lunch.

The sushi set is marginally better than most offered by Japanese restaurants in London, but the price is more than double. It depends on whether you’re willing to pay a lot more for small differences. I’d recommend those outlets in Ealing which provide authentic Japanese food in a more reasonable price. Not a bad experience in general.

Great food m from chisou. Everything was fresh and well made and immaculately presented. Really liked the wagyu gyudon. Sashimi was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and had a Japanese politeness to them but service was limited to 90 minutes so felt a bit rushed unfortunately.

Was looking for a great sushi restaurant in Mayfair/Bond St/Oxford St area. My hotel recommended this location to me. I was seated at the sushi bar. The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, available and made great recommendations. I had two different sushi rolls, miso soup and green tea. There were many delicious sounding meals on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for sushi or Japanese food in London.

I had a pleasant experience at Chisou Mayfair. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and the food was fresh and nicely prepared. Everything arrived promptly, and the sushi was enjoyable. While nothing in particular stood out as exceptional, there were also no complaints — it was a solid, satisfying meal overall.

Unfortunately, for the price, the quality of the sushi wasn’t the best. The staff were nice and the restaurant itself looks great, but we had high hopes for the food and were left disappointed. We ordered the 6-piece nigiri omakase and the 24-piece maki selection.

Amazing find as we were wandering around Oxford St. Not only was the sashimi mouth-watering, but the signature rolls were exquisite. And my hot sake came in the cutest bamboo box to keep warm! Heavenly retreat during a heavy shopping day!
