The best little hole in the wall find in a while. Arrive at the restaurant about 5:52pm. The place wasn’t crowded yet. We ordered The Texas Burrito and Fajita Nachos. Everything thing had really good flavor. Very authentic food. The place was decorated very cute. The only draw back was it too about 40 min to get or food and there was only 2 of us. Other then that, I would recommend you try the out. Will be back.

Ended up here because place our hotel told us to go was closed. So glad it was. What a wonderful little place,food was amazing, and service was even better. We had a nice young lady (Jessica)taking care of us, we never went without, and she had a smile everytime. We don’t get this kind of Mexican food in Miami….

This place really went downhill. Everything is dirty including the menus.
My nachos must have set at the window forever because they were cold and I waited 29 minutes at 4:30 on a Monday.
The server hasn’t checked back in with me in 15 minutes now, he’s too busy on his phone .
They won’t last much longer at this rate.
Sad because they used to be so good.

The food looks so good I didn’t really remember to get pictures hahaha
We went at 3:30 on a Sunday and the restaurant was mostly empty.
Our hostess, waitress and cashier were the same amazing lady. I wish I would have gotten her name because she definitely took care of us.
The chips and salsa they bring out in the beginning were delicious,
We ordered a medium queso and they only had white taste so that day which was fine We thought it was delicious.. the salsa was kind of spicy but the chips were thin and crispy.
I ordered the chicken and spinach deep fried roll up and it was so hot and good. As usual Granny got the cheese enchiladas and she ate two of the three of them which says a lot about a restaurant.
My husband got three chicken enchiladas and he ate his entire plate and there was not one rice grain left.
I did include a picture of my mostly eating chicken lol

I really enjoyed lunch here! The lunch fajitas were delicious as well as the yellow cheese sauce. So. Yum and definitely will be back! They take pride in food presentation here.

I’ve been going here since a kid. Now I know prices have gone up everywhere, But a small queso, a shared dinner, and one drink came out to almost $30….Well I had planned on using my $8 in rewards but when the waitress took my number she said there wasn’t anything on it…Which i know is a mistake because i checked it before I went. Now yes, they have a new system they are using but that shouldn’t mess with what i already have on my rewards! Needless to say I paid for it, But i highly doubt I’ll be going there anymore! The food isn’t worth the price or the hassle of dealing with the rewards system that is obviously messed up!

Ordered Chicken Fajita enchiladas… This is the horses—t that was delivered. You’d think when paying 15$ after tax for a plate that you’ll get somewhat of a decent meal. Not at this place. No enchilada sauce. Gave me one beef and one chicken. Hardly any protein at all. Oh also usually there’s fajita veggies when you order fajita enchiladas or fajita anything. Horrible experience, pissed me entirely off Im going Karen on here.

Had a great experience here Saturday, I visited with my parents and it’s one of their favorite restaurants, they’ve been eating here for 50+ years. I had a combo with enchiladas, a taco, 2 different types of tostadas, a tamale, and beans & rice. Everything was tasty and served quickly. I do wish they’d make their chips thicker, it’s a struggle to eat their salsa because they’re so thin. Our servers name escapes me but he was awesome. (He’s from Bristow) He took good care of us and was incredibly patient with my elderly mother.

Felt like old times. Still the same “Monterrey House”. The chicken flatuas are my favorite. But I will say, COME AT HAPPY HOUR!!! Felt robber by the prices when I got finished but hey we all got bills right. …..yeh come at happy hour. Some picture on here says 2pm but she told me it started at 4pm. Call ahead if you need confirmation. Again. Come at HAPPY HOUR!!!
