The Chateau has been a family favorite for years. I have been coming here since it was called Ann’s place but my parents did their wedding reception here in the late 60s.
The location is beautiful especially in the summer time with the lake view.
The menu is Italian inspired and has many of the classic dishes you would expect. They also have fun specials. I feel like the quality of the food has changed a little over the years too but it’s still good.
They offer an event room if you have a larger crowd to please and there is also a separate bar area.
The ambiance is kind of dated. It has maintained the same or similar interior decor and presence since I have been coming with the exception of a few updates.
This place great for lunch, a date, or a friend or family gathering.
We will continue to patron this family fave!

Came as a group of seven. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the view was pretty and the waitress was super nice. This is kind of an old-school sort of place but I personally like that and I would recommend checking it out.

Had a great dinner at the Chateau. All the food was good – we had the Sausage Abruzzi and Chicken Palermo. Service was very friendly and quick, and there was lots of parking. This was a Saturday night so we made reservations, but I think walking in would have also been ok. The seats by the water are nice if you can get one. The biggest “problem” was having to make a choice from lots of good options on the menu. Would go again.
Edit: We did go again, and had another good meal. This time we had the toasted ravioli and chicken francese, which were both good. The spice cake dessert was also good.

I highly recommend the baked scrod. I had oven roasted potatoes and zucchini for sides which were delicious. Also the chicken piccata is amazing. Becky C. makes a PERFECT dirty martini!

Clean place, beautiful location. Been to The Chateau before but not this location. Diniz the bartender was great. Attentive, friendly. We sat at the bar overlooking the water. Reason for the 2 stars is that the food was truly bad.
There were 3 of us and none of us enjoyed anything we got. Everything we got was served either cold or warm right on the verge of cold.
Started with wings and stuffed mushrooms. Both were almost cold as if they’d been sitting in the window. Stuffing was OK but the mushrooms themselves looked dirty and were almost raw. Had a snap to them. Wings had that rubbery texture and were once again…cold.
Entrees were surf and turf, French dip, and chicken parm alla vodka. Vodka sauce was watery, French dip and fries cold, zero seasoning.
Apple CRISP was on special so we got that to give them one last shot and it came out seconds later and it was a scoop of ice cream on top on barely warmed apples. Not hot. Zero crisp. Zero crumble.
$167 including a 20% tip for terrible food. Could be just an off day, but cannot justify coming back.

As I’ve mentioned before great place but back room bar really suffers good help. We waited at 5:00 pm close to 30minutes for three cocktails our appetizers came to the table before our drinks. Potato tarts not cooked all the way and the pasta dish with chicken extremely dry. Tonight’s meals deserve a two star but overall we go here food is normally okay.

First time here, was not impressed. Server forgot that I asked for a water with my drink, when I called her over 10 mins later to ask for it she just said “Oh”, no apology. Food took a while (30 mins for a burger in a near empty restaurant), burger was overcooked, finished my drink and it took the server probably 20 mins to ask if I wanted another, which by then we were almost done so I said no.
In an area so saturated with places to eat, you have to do much better than this.

Had a great time at Le Chateau’s. These calamaris tasted delicious. We stayed late and over time because we did not notice they were closed. Staff were exceptionally professional and kind to not even force us out. Our waitress was the best on top of being very pretty. Will certainly go back

Very nice view looking over the lake. Delicious food. The RI calamari, bread, salad with house dressing to the veal, chicken picatta, canolli. Our server Alison was. She had some great recommendations and a pleasant personality.
