Easy to find location but easier for us because it was right in front of our hotel.
I believe our server’s name was Barbara and she was very attentive.
We ordered a BLT with a potato soup, and fish and chips with chicken noodle soup, and everything was excellent.
Tons of crackers for the soup, tons of ice water as we requested, the sandwich had so much bacon and we were really surprised at the high quality of the fish and chips, absolutely excellent.
The young man who cashed us out was very friendly, the entire restaurant was clean and well run, absolutely fantastic

Ive always been a fan of Perkins. But the food was sub par. And when I asked the nice waitress how she thought the eggs were prepared best, she said I dont know I dont eat eggs. They cook the scrambled on the flat top so they get rubbery. Needless to say my buddy changed his order from scrambled. It was fine. I just remember when it was the place to go. Sadly that might be my last. Hoping though. I’m rooting for ya.

I have been traveling for several weeks to Butte for work. My first experience at Perkins left me shorted change and had to go back to fix it. For what I purchased, super expensive. Second time was pretty good and fast. Last night was not so good. You could tell the Onion Rings were left out to defrost before putting in the oil. Very soggy and all the breading came off as I was eating them and I would like to know why I found several raw celery pieces mixed in with my so called “deep fried” onion rings. As a chef, not good. Not a big fan. 3 more weeks of travel here in the attached hotel, but I won’t go back.

This is a top class restaurant in Butte! One of my favorite places to visit if I’m in the mood for some good old fashioned pie or a classic American breakfast. The coffee is bottomless and tastes great, the prices are exceptional. I really enjoy the rotating specials such as the “flips” – there is always something new and different on the menu. Always friendly and kind service from a crew who have been working there for years! Justina, Taylor and Jodi take care of everyone and Jason runs a great operation, always working hard! Keep up the great work, Perkins, and thank you for all the great meals!

Server was nonexistent. Very glib and fake interaction. Disappeared out of sight for most of the visit except when taking order and delivering food. No refills or offer to refill drinks. Left an intentional penny tip.
Soup for one of party came out 10-15 min before rest of food and the baked potato soup was disgusting. It was cold and tasted like salt Shaker was dumped in it. Had to walk to front to get manager’s attention to replace. The chicken noodle soup was not much better. Left sick and obviously got food poisoning from the soup. Sick all night. The other meal was the turkey dinner and was also super salty with dry/hard mashed potatoes and soggy stuffing. Worst Perkins experience ever.

We stopped in to get some lunch while traveling. Our server was very nice. I ordered the Lunch Duo and had the half pot roast melt with house salad. It was so delicious. The pot roast was tender and had a great flavor. My husband had the brioche French toast breakfast. He did it was great. It was a great stop.

Went for dinner. Got there about 6. Slow getting seated. They were out of pork chops, salmon, chicken strips, corn, and broccoli, that we know of. Poorly managed restaurant. I had a omelet, which was good, but the hash browns were very over cooked. Dry and crispy. Kudos to the waitress, Lynn, who was doing her best while she was telling almost everyone around us, “Sorry, we’re out of that.”

I only recommend this place for it’s desserts. The cakes and pies are so good that it outshines any other aspect of this restaurant. I had the raspberry lemon drop cake and over a week later I still think about it.

I didn’t know Perkins still existed. But I think they are better than Dennys and am sad there aren’t more. Food was excellent and the employee’s were overly kind, helpful, and energetic. If you’re in the area a great place to eat with a warm inviting atmosphere.

Lots options from breakfast all day, salads, sandwich and dinner. A good American restaurant that’s a step up from 24hr restaurant. There is an insane amount of options. They have all of their calorie information and pictures included in the menu. They also have pasties and bakery items for sale, displayed in the front. I was impressed at the meal considering it’s from Perkins. I would recommend and will go again.
