A part of our team at Ourisman Lexus Of Rockville all went out to Capital Grill in Tysons corner for a group dinner! We were about 34 and we all had a blast at this wonderful facility!

First of all, the party was huge! I first have to take into consideration all of the contributing factors that led to a pleasant evening!

The lead waiter was Musa, whom at first I thought was a bit loud when he was speaking/addressing the group, but I later understood why he had to speak louder, we had the football game on and it was loud! He later adjusted himself to the larger group he had to service.

We had a four course meal beginning with appetizer: calamari, crab bites, seafood Tower etc! Delicious!

Next were the salads and also placing our orders for the main course.
Side orders of asparagus, crab mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, assortment of breads and more were brought to the tables as well.

Our main courses consisted of a mouth watering selections of filet mignon, tenderloins, lobster tails, Seabass, etc.

To end the night, we all indulge in deserts that were truly incredible.

I must say that the food was awesome and the servicing never stopped!

I will highly recommend this place for a large group and even for a smaller group or couples night.

For parking valet was easier to do and only cost five dollars.

My wife really wanted to go here based on the great reviews. However, we did not have a pleasant experience. To start, there is no parking in front of the restaurant so you are forced to do valet which I am not a fan of. Our reservation was for 8pm but we were not seated until close to 8:30 so we weren’t off to a great start. When we were finally seated, to my surprise the tables were very close to one another. The tables were so close that my wife and I felt like we were going to hit the tables beside us because we were that close to them. The restaurant was very loud and we were so close to the tables beside us that we felt like we were pretty much in their conversations. The service was great, our server was great and very attentive, and our food came out very fast. The food however severely lacked flavor. Anytime I go anywhere and there is a lobster bisque or a lobster mac and cheese on the menu I must order it. I have never had a lobster mac and cheese or lobster bisque that was not great until I came here. The lobster bisque did not have flavor and lacked seasoning. The lobster mac and cheese was supposed to be shareable but was pretty small and lacked a good amount of cheese. I also needed to put salt and pepper on the mac and cheese. I ordered the ribeye steak which was cooked very well, was tender, juicy, but lacked seasoning. I needed to put a good amount of salt on the steak. My wife had to do the same with her lamb chops. For as much money as we spent at this restaurant the food was very subpar. What was supposed to be a fine dining experience failed to miss the mark and left my wife and I feeling pretty underwhelmed.

I have to tell you about this restaurant; it’s absolutely spectacular. The place is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere—family-friendly, casual, perfect for business dinners. You can take beautiful photos. The food is incredibly delicious; every dish is simply divine. The coffee is beyond words—exquisite, with an excellent, intense flavor. I enjoyed it immensely; this place was a truly wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Went without a reservation to celebrate my wife’s promotion with some good friends. Sat in the front bar area in a booth. Quickly seated even though they were busy. Quick water and bread and ordered drinks. Bread is amazing.

Drinks took a bit but arrived and we ordered appetizers to share for dinner. Filet sliders, calamari, tuna tartar, and truffle fries. All yummy especially the sliders. Angela was our server and was great.

We had told her we were celebrating a promotion when we arrived and she surprised us at the end with a dessert and some bubbly. Nice touch.

Also the cocktails were yummy especially their signature drink. A little pricey but worth the occasion.

I visited The Capital Grille for dinner and ordered their Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad for an appetizer, their Filet Mignon with Wild Mushrooms for the main course and their Creme Brulee for dessert. The salad was delicious and didn’t taste overwhelming with the goat cheese as an ingredient which was nice. The steak was cooked wonderfully however the mushrooms on the side didn’t taste good in my opinion, they tasted off and I don’t think it was due to the specific type of mushroom, so I didn’t have a chance to enjoy them with my steak. The dessert was unfortunately disappointing as it really wasn’t a true creme brulee; it wasn’t prepared well as there wasn’t a golden crust on top to break into, it was rather soft/soggy, so it was just plain soft custard all throughout at that point. The service wasn’t really great either, I had to go out of my way to ask for the basic items, and the server wasn’t really good at checking in for me to request the items. The server was friendly but she didn’t manage time at the tables in her section fairly. The atmosphere was good, and the location is great as it’s right across the Tyson’s Corner Mall. I wish they’d improve on the points mentioned, as I originally wanted to rate my experience at 3 stars per the food and service itself. Thanks!

The experience was definitely worth mentioning. We had the pleasure of hosting my husbands birthday dinner/ couples date night addition at this place and we scored the private room for small parties. Boy! We are impressed. Annie the coordinator was so flexible and so informative with myself and my husband and made the planing process so smooth. When we entered the place, valet parking was so easy! This was a Saturday evening and it felt too easy. The front staff set the tone and the ambience created a picture for a wonderful evening. We entered a fully set private room 30 min prior to our guest arrival time. Wow!!!! Lourdes and Gary were so accommodating! Lourdes is one to remember because she really made the experience grand. Her smile and her patience with a party of 16 really did show up and shine on Saturday. The food came out so beautifully made, timely and was very appetizing. We will be back! We will talk about this place to others.

Lourdes gave us an entire Photoshoot at the duration of our event. Never rushed us!!! That is stellar service!!!!

Thank you for making this experience so amazing for our guest. ❤️

My wife and I came here for our third anniversary (hold your applause, please!!) and we had an excellent time.

We arrived and were immediately flustered by the fact that there is no parking. There’s a valet service at the front and if you end up stopping your car up there, they’re liable just to jump in and drive it away anyway. Valet is $5 and was actually pretty convenient, so not a big deal. However, I found out after we sat down that there’s also parking around the back of the building if you didn’t want to pay for valet.

Nevertheless, the valet drove off with our car and we entered into the restaurant. When you first walk in, the hostess booth is on the right and there’s a large bar area on the left. We were told that the bar addition is new and it’s a pretty nice spot. We, however, were taking into the dining area and were given a nice spot.

Our water was given to us almost instantly and our waiter was just a few minutes behind that. Guy (that was his name) was excellent the whole time. He was incredibly friendly, helpful in talking us through the menu and was attentive throughout the night.

One the things that was most impressive to us was the quality of the service that we received. My wife and I don’t scream wealth and yet we were treated with courtesy, diligence and kindness the whole night. Our waiter stayed and chatted with us for a bit, the manager stopped by twice to check in on us and Angela also stopped by a few times. They were all incredibly sweet to us.

In fact, when we told them that it was our anniversary, Angela threw some confetti onto our table and delivered us a handwritten card congratulating us and Guy brought us free dessert (and some extra to take home to our kids). Free dessert is a staple of this place (they were handing it out to just about everyone), and yet, it was such a nice touch and made us feel very special.

The food itself was great. We ordered salmon and a steak and both were excellent for the price. The food isn’t cheap, definitely an anniversary/birthday/celebration kind of a restaurant, but they made it well worth our money. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Hands down the best restaurant service I’ve ever experienced. This staff is professional, kind, and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your time and meal. Cameron was our waiter and is easily the best waiter I’ve ever had. He made my friends birthday very special, easy, and made sure the table got food that they enjoyed. Plus the lamb with the wine reduction sauce was 10/10! My drink was also amazing. They cut our birthday cake as well at no extra charge, and wrapped it up for us! Valet is convenient and only $5. Definitely returning!

The food was just ok. I ordered my steaks well done, and it came out crispy on the bottom. The lobster was lukewarm. The drinks are really good, though. I would go back another time to see if I have a better experience with the food. Make reservations if you plan on going here.
