The burger patty’s are honestly awful. We ordered wings, chips and a burger each. The wings were quite good and the chips were nice, especially with the home made aioli. But $26 for a a genuinely terrible burger without chips is a wild ask. Chips $11 extra and was a small handful.

The patty in the burger is super thick, dry and seasoned in a very confusing way. We both felt a little sick after eating it. I think you can’t go wrong with a simple beef patty, seems like they’re doing wayyyy too much and it was a big miss.

If I’m being truthful, this would be the worst burger I’ve ever had. I hope they can realise simple is better sometimes, stick to traditional juicy beef, maybe add 2x thinner patties instead of a super thick, overly seasoned and dry patty.

Told waitress we liked the wings and chips and the burgers we only had a few bites each and stopped. I would’ve thought she would atleast wave one of the burgers atleast, but we were charged $83 for the whole meal. Very disappointed also considering I said no to the extra egg and bacon for $6 and she added it on anyway.

I wouldn’t bother eating here, not for the burgers atleast.

GOOD PART: The hospitality is good, the fillings in a burger is all you want to have in this shop. The cafe is pretty unique with a lot of posters. Good naked pictures in the washroom.

NOT SO GOOD PART: The buns used for the burger or not that good. The buns are a bit dry both outside and inside.
The fillings between the buns are just a load of sauce.

Overall, It’s a pretty big burger for a single person to finish. The place is quite nice with decent burger.

I had a disappointing experience here. I ordered a burger ($26) plus chips ($11), and it took around 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When it finally came, the beef patty was raw in the middle. When I raised this with the staff, I was told that this is how they cook their homemade patties. They also mentioned that the red colour might be due to the condiments, but after checking the burger they acknowledged that the meat was indeed undercooked. I explained that minced beef generally shouldn’t be served undercooked for safety reasons, but they maintained that this is how they normally cook their patties.

They offered to cook another patty, which I appreciated, but it took another ~20 minutes. By the time it arrived, the burger had already been sitting open on the table for quite some time and was already cold. Instead of remaking the burger, they simply brought a new patty, with the expectation that I would replace it in the burger myself and discard the undercooked one. By that point the burger was already cold and messy, so I didn’t attempt to reassemble it.

In the end, the whole process took quite a long time and I ended up leaving with only the patty takeaway. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

With a World War II military theme, the store features numerous airplane models, posters, souvenirs, and banknotes from various countries. The signature dish is the extra-large burger, it’s many times larger than a person’s hand. The meat is super fresh, and it’s great value for money. Actually I think one burger is generally enough for two people. The lamb burger is particularly special, with an exceptionally rich and flavorful taste.

At the time of writing, this place holds a 4.7 star rating on Google, but in reality it’s not, McDonalds burgers are still much better and cheaper.

We ordered the “Mustang” beef burger and the spicy fried chicken burger. The same issues applied to both. The beef burger being huge and very thick, but completely unbalanced. The beef patty tastes cheap and grainfed and was cooked underdone, bland, and out of proportion with the bun and fillings. The mustard on the Mustang was excessive and overpowered everything else. For burgers priced at $30+, the meat quality and overall flavour did not justify the cost.

The spicy fried chicken burger suffered from the same problem of too much lettuce. It added bulk without flavour, had a slightly sweet taste that did not work with the burger, and made the overall experience messy and underwhelming.

Food being served on old, heavily used chopping boards as plates felt unhygienic and inappropriate given the premium pricing.

The only real positive was the decor. The memorabilia and overall fit-out are well done and visually interesting. Unfortunately, decor alone does not compensate for poor food execution.

Based on the current rating and hype, this was a disappointing experience and not somewhere I would return.

Small but very atmospheric war plane themed burger restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, seated and menu in hand. We ordered burgers, chips, wings and drinks. All came within 15 minutes of ordering. Burgers were a bit difficult to eat due to their large size but tasted great. Wings were also fantastic but I ordered the kamikaze hot hoping they’d be really hot. Unfortunately they were quite tame but still were quite tasty. Prices were fair for what you get so expect around $30-$40 per person ( burger and drinks). Definitely highly recommended for burger lovers and plane enthusiasts.

An aviation-themed restaurant with a pilot vibe — and the burgers are absolutely massive. It’s just a short trip from Rosebud Beach (15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car), making it perfect for a dine-in meal or a tasty takeaway for the sand and sun. The kids’ meals are super generous too, and my little ones loved every bite.

Mega sized burger! It was juicy, every elements inside the burger goes well together. Chips are well seasoned. Buffalo wings are lightly battered with yummy hot and sweet sauce. Great value of money.
