2FOG’s Pub originally opened in March 2015 and is located in the basement of the Heart of Howell building in historical downtown Howell, MI. As of September 2020, this establishment is under new ownership. Full Lunch and Dinner Menus available, including a Sunday Brunch menu. Our food is made with local and fresh ingredients. We are highly known for our classic cocktail’s, martini’s and Michigan craft beers. With a prohibition era feel, 2FOG’s Pub is destination location with a distinctive speakeasy-type atmosphere.

Finally went to 2 Fogs for the first time for a birthday dinner. We were told the wait time was 45 minutes so left to run a quick errand but was called after just 15 minutes with a seat available so rushed right back. We were seated in the middle room which had a great vibe. I’m so glad the restaurant was nice and warm on such a cold night. My only gripe is that it took 45 minutes for our two burgers and we were both starving. I had the pub burger w/fries and thought it was soooo good! I had a side of ranch for the fries and it was some of the best ranch I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back and hopefully next time it doesn’t take so long for our meals to come out. Maybe they were short staffed or maybe that is typical for a full house on a Saturday night. Either way, it was worth the wait! Oh and for dessert we had their brownie which was amazing! Served extra warm, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate drizzled over it all!!

We waited for a table and it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed the peach bourbon glazed chop. and the filet mignon with zip sauce, as well as the garlic mashed potatoes and cheddar sage biscuits. We recommend all of our choices and are planning to return to try other menu items. The experience overall was nice. When we went it was midday and there was not a wait.
We ordered the bruschetta to start, and we wish we got a different starter. There was not enough basil, the tomatoes were chopped too large, and I would have liked a bit more salt or balsamic to flavor it.
We also ordered sliders, pork and beef sliders. Both were really good and I would recommend getting them. Onions were good too, they had a thick batter to them. And fries were average.
If I go back I’ll try something new.

Cool vibe inside, large space. 3 dining room areas – one of which is the bar area. stairs down to the entrance are treacherous so be careful. Mushroom burger was sloppy and unseasoned. Bacon jam was tasty. Chips were not homemade. Decent selection of beers on tap. Gets pretty busy on the weekends and evening.

The food at 2Fogs was great! The entrance gives me a speak-easy vibe, and the interior as well as the food gives me a more sophisticated feel. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits and my waitress Zoe was a on top of it. Will definitely be back again!

We were on our way home from THE GAME in Ann Arbor. The parking is at a premium. Its located in basement so there are stairs to go down. They were cleared off and no problems at all. Just like to mention it. The service was absolutely perfect. She was so nice and told us everything about how they make all theyre stuff in house. The wife ordered A power bowl with Ahi Tuna on top. She loved it. Said it was fresh. She got a drink called little darlin. I ordered the chicken wrap and it came with homemade chips and wow was it good. Highly recommended. Our son had the Basic burger with fries and said it was really good. Daughter-in-law ordered blackened chicken Alfredo and said it was really good.

Went for a quick dinner tonight. I had the Salmon with 2 sides(garden salad and broccoli) the garden salad is huge! Could be smaller with an entree. The piece is salmon I got was also huge and cooked perfectly! There’s a small amount of lemon dill sauce on the plate… could have use more of that. Husband had Beef Tip Stroganoff was delicious.(looking forward to eating his leftovers for lunch)! For dessert I opted for the Liquid variety… Butter bliss which was Bailey’s, Butterscotch and maybe Vodka? It was good but would have preferred it not served over ice… it diluted far too quickly. Hubby tried the carrot cake which was gorgeous in presentation. Lots of frosting.

On Grand River in Howell! Wow!! Totally was not expecting a pub to be a gourmet restaurant. You enter from the back by taking the stairs down into the restaurant or there is an elevator to take you down.
The restaurant reminds me bars and restaurants in Poland that are below ground.
With 2fog’s there is the bar with seating, then another room and then another room! It was so unexpected. The back room is perfect for special occasions

Food is delicious. I had the beef appetizer with zip sauce which is homemade. It was perfect! Hubby had the three sliders with fries.

Our experience started off shakey but ended very excellent. We had an issue with our orders at first but the manager, Cari(?), handled it really well for us. She took action to make sure the kitchen was aware and the kitchen staff took action to make it right and to make sure it doesn’t happen in the future. Our server, Liam(?), handled communication very well and made sure to alert the manager quickly for us. With both staff members being so kind and professional, it made sure that we are choosing to Come back soon!

My family and I decided to try the place for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and we were not disappointed. Got the calamari, the Mad Dog Burger, and the brownie for the dessert. Calamari was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and the sauces paired great with it. The burger was fantastic and the meat melted in your mouth. Brownie tasted like it was fresh out of the oven.
On top of that, the place has a great atmosphere and the service was top notch. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back again!
